The New Alpha

*3rd POV*

As Edrea and the others planned for a war, Lana was alone struggling to stay away from Malador. Ever since she told her truth the dreams had become more intense. Pushing her to finally release Malador. But even if he was this charming pull that made her want to give in to him. She was smarter than him and knew that she was working a charm on him just as he was on her.

Christmas is in one week and that's when he told Lana that she will release him. He says that it's the day of the winter solstice and it's also the day all elements would be active on five islands that create a symbol of a bird. When he told her that, Lana knew that she needed to stop him or more so, herself. She came up with a plan to chain herself in the pack cells but she needed help and the person she trusted most was missing.

She made sure to be careful causing any attention. Everyone seems to still be on edge about Edrea and to top it off... Flora is now claiming to be the next Alpha in line. Augustus isn't here and her best friend is still missing. Lana couldn't believe what she was hearing and was sure to stay out of the way unless necessary or leave this pack once and for all of that happened.

"You!" Lana froze in place "The Alpha wants to speak with you"

She took off running because she knew these guards worked Flora and declared her Alpha due to some rumors she spread about the Augustus. The guards caught up to Lana, due to tripping over a tree root. She blamed it on lack of sleep. She hated that she had to stay awake most days because when she did fall asleep he was there waiting for her. Seducing her in ways she didn't know was possible and even though she knows she has him wrapped under her finger, she is still afraid.

"Let me go you traitors. It's only been a few days since Augustus has been gone and you already switched up on him. Making a fraud like Flora Alpha." She yelled as she fought against two giant guards who had an upper hand at the moment. Though they still struggled against Lana.

"Shut up, you know nothing. This was a matter between life and death. " One of them said

"How convenient for you all" Lana laughed "So you rather be a traitor then die for your pack. Neither one of you can call yourselves warriors, to me you're nothing but losers who deserve to die along with your false Alpha." She spat at them both

"Well since you think that" One of them punched her in the face "then maybe you should go first" He punched her again in the stomach

Lana stubbled back, holding her gut and wiped the blood off her face.

"That's all you got?" She smiles a bloody smile at the guard.

"f*****g b***h" He yelled and charged towards her but she quickly moved to the side and kicked him in the back of the head. Causing him to fly into the building across the way, knocking him out. The other guard looked shocked but still took him chances. He charged, moving incredibly fast. If Lana wasn't the Jade Wolf, she wouldn't have been able to see him.

He almost connected his foot with the side of her head but she blocked it with her arm. Though the force was strong. Making her fly into a tree. He thought he did some damage, it did nothing. "Yeah b***h, I'm Alpha Flora Best warrior and I'm going to take down all who goes against her. Starting with you first." He laughs

"What a wasted gift" Lana whispers before slowing her heart causing her to slow time down around her. The air cleared some and he saw her still standing. He attacked again, and again and again but he missed every time. She dodged his attacks with Grace. She then knocked him into the same tree. Making it break and fall towards her. She ran and jumped out of the way.

As she got up she was caught off guard by two other guards who shot her with Taser guns. She fell to the ground and struggled to get back up. Fighting the fast one took a lot of energy from her and she already wasn't 100% herself due to lack of sleep. They started kicking and punching me and all Lana could do is block.

"Be happy the New Alpha wants you alive for something. Otherwise I would've loved to skin you myself." He caresses her face and she tries to jump back but her body is in too much pain and so she turns her head instead. "Still feisty huh" He grabs her face and she flinches

"You're going to die. When the real Alpha returns he will skin you both alive." She laughs through the pain and they both went pale.

"Why wait for him" The all too familiar voice ranged through her head.

'Malador'

The other guard busted out laughing but panic still laced that very laugh, though Lana's attention was not on them. It was on the mist that creeped up from out of nowhere "Just bring her to the Alpha, I don't have time for this" He says under his breath

"Are you scared she's nothing but a weak wolf" The other says

All of a sudden the mist turns a blackest blue. It rose up from the ground and latches onto both the guards.They tried to run but it clinged to them like it was apart of them. It dragged them to the ground as they screamed in agony. "Help" They yelled out but the mist entered their mouths, shutting them up. And within a blink of an eye their souls were sucked into the ground as their bodies laid there like a shell. Motionless.

Lana could only watch in horror, not able to move an inch.Two other guards appeared, looking at the screen around her. One guard throws up while the other scared out of his mind and asks what happened. Lana could only shake her head back and forth. They both hurried and helped Lana up and brought her to the Alpha throne room. They sat her at the feet of the throne as Flora looked down on her with disguise.

"Where are the other guards? and what was all that noise" Flora asked the guards present that still had fear running throw their very bones.

"We do not know what happened" The guard that threw up said.

"Is that so?" Flora looked at Lana "What happened?" Lana didn't answer because she felt like there was no point. They all would think she was delusional if she told them the truth. "What Happened, what did you do?" Flora yelled and stood up from the Alpha chair.

Lana just chucked and turned on head

"She knows nothing Alpha, she can do nothing Alpha. She is just as shocked as us. Plus she is just an omega wolf." The other guard said this time Flora laughed.

"Are you stupid? She is the Jade Wolf, Beta of the Phoenix Wolf. Do you not recognize your pack members. She is just masking her rank to seem small but She is more powerful than the three of us combined." She gulped looking at the Jade Wolf "It's ok, you don't have to tell me. I already know." And Lana laughs

"You know of nothing" Lana calmly said

"I know everything" She grabbed Lana's face and pushed it "But I'm not a liar like you" Lana laughs

"You're just a pawn"

"Leave us" Flora angrily yell to the guards

"Yes Alpha" They said in unison and left the room, shutting the door behind them. Flora, frustrated, sat back in the Alpha chair and looked down at Lana.

"Let me tell you a story" Flora chuckles "Listen up sweet heart"
