I'm so sick and tired of everyone thinking that Flora is the Phoenix Wolf. It's not fair that no one sees Edrea for who she truly is. She is strong, beautiful, selfless, honest, courageous, smart, creative, gentle and funny. All the things the legendary wolf needs and represents. How can you not love her? And to find out she will be the next Luna only confirmed the truth.

You see, I always thought my Best friend was special but I didn't know how special until my wolf showed up. My birthday fell on the day after the last ceremony of last year. Meaning I shifted for the first time six months after I meet Kimi for the first time.

Though I had to wait, my Wolf and I had time to chat and get to know each other. She had told me the missing pieces of the story of a legend and how Edrea is connected to it all. What everybody has been calling the Phoenix Wolf is actually named Yōso-tekina Sonzai, that was to be born. Which means Elemental Being!

She was not only a powerful wolf but a being who has the power of universal energy surging through her fingers. Edrea was the strongest wolf to live and not only a wolf. Her powers allows her to turn into a bird that looks like a phoenix due to the energy surrounding her like blazing fire but as one gets a better look. You'll see that she was not on fire but...

of energy.

You must wonder how my wolf knows this. As a Jade wolf and having to shift during the first new moon ceremony of the Phoenix Wolf year. I was gifted the ability of sight. I can see into someones future by touching them or something of theirs. My wolf says that my abilities will grow and I would be able to see much more soon.

It scares me at first but Kimi has been a lot of help. There's a lot of things that I know by touching people. Like how I need to be there for Edrea when a tragedy so horrible happens. I didn't think she could move on from it without her mate by her side but now that she has him. I have faith that she will be ok.

I know you're probably thinking I should tell her this thing that is to be fated but my Wolf said that I will be stopping her process of growth if I was to interfere with what I saw or even if I told her and she attempted to stop it.

If she succeeds in stopping this, she will change someone else's fate and someone else close to her will suffer the consequences she was supposed to suffer. The truth would be revealed and what was meant to be at first will still come to pass. Only this time she would gain double the pain.

There was no way around it. Regardless if I try to change the future. What is fated will always come to pass. I can only change an outcome if it was not already written in stone. If someone else tried to change the course of time. Would I be able to change it to it's rightful path.

I didn't have to ask how is Edrea so powerful. I know she's adopted, I found some papers in their basement some years back.. But nobody knows I know that and to me she looks a lot like the Queen.

I always used to say it before her ex boyfriend took her virginity, broke up with her and spread rumors about her that was never true, making her not dress up anymore.

I hated him and wished I could make him pay for the damage he put on my friend but she wanted me to let it go but I never did. I swore he would regret the day he hurt her and I meant it.

After I said what I said about Flora and her b***h Crew. Edrea laughed and the Training teacher voice ranged out from the middle of the field.

"Ok ladies and gentlemen, Today we are doing one on one combat training but first you run a mile in human form." Everybody grumbled but he ignored us "Choose your partners and get moving."

Edrea and I immediately choose each other and started running the mile long trail our trainer had laid out for us. We got about a half a mile in before Edrea started speaking. Putting us deep into the forest woods, out of sight of others.

"So" Edrea was about to say before she almost fell face first on the ground. I caught her before she went down.

We looked back to see a smirking Flora and her b***h crew. Even Edrea Ex was there, sitting back watching everything play out. They all laughed and started talking crap about us making everyone that's catching up stop and laugh.

This is the part we usually just walk away but Edrea wasn't having it this time. She snapped back at Flora with a joke that had everybody in tears. Flora reached back and smacked Edrea causing everyone to pause.

Edrea looked up and I saw red in her eyes. I grabbed her arms, trying to stop her but she yanked herself away from me. Before I could grab her again, Edrea punched her right in the face.

I beat up the other two girls in Flora crew easily as Edrea and Flora went at it. Flora was good but Edrea was better. Edrea round kicked Flora causing her to fly back into a Tree, causing the tree to fold half way. Flora tried standing again but passed out in the process.

The trainer finally showed one minute too late and was furious at the scene he was witnessing. Seeing Flora, the Alpha daughter bruised, beaten and knocked out was not good for anyone. He ran up to her, checking her pulse as everyone stood there in silence.

"Who did this?" He yelled making everyone jump but me and Edrea.

"She did" One of Flora friends pointed at Edrea as she held her stomach in agony. The trainer eyes glazed over indicating his is linking someone.

Fuck .. !

After a few minutes guards came to collect Flora and brought her to the pack hospital. Then a few more guards came to take Edrea away. I stood in front of her ready to fight but she moved me to the side saying that she is tired of fighting. I stepped to the side, having a bad feeling about all of this.

"Everyone move out! This is not what I meant by sparing" Training was cut short and I ran all the way to Edrea house to get the Patterson's.

"Lana" Mrs. Patterson jumped as I busted through the kitchen doors breathing like I just ran a marathon.

"Hurry it's Edrea" I wasted no time. Mrs. Patterson grabbed her things. Linking Mr. Patterson to meet them at the pack house immediately. We ran as fast as we could. Mrs. Patterson didn't say much as she was in panic at what might be going on with her daughter. I took her to the cells and she covered her mouth, holding back the cries that dared escaped her.

The guard noticed me as the Jade Wolf and let us through. I covered my face due to it smelling like pee and body oder. We was led to her cell and left there alone with her. She was sitting there with her legs up against her chest. "Edrea" Her mother whispered. Her head snapped up and she ran to the cell bars. "Oh Edrea" Her mother pushed her hair from her face. Her lip was swollen and her face was bruised like someone punched her several times over. I became furious and my wolf was pushing to the surface but held my anger back.

"Mother" Edrea hugged her through the bar and mouthed thank you to me. I nodded my head.

"Edrea" Her father voice rang through the hall

"Dad I'm here" He ran up to her hugging her through the bars and holding Mrs. Patterson's hand.

"How did this happen sweetie" He held her cheek with one hand. His face hardened at the sight of his daughter.

"I beat up Flora" Her parents faced dropped to the floor. Shocked at their daughters actions but before they could answer Augustus came marching through the doors, angry and dangerous. Mr. Patterson turned to face him. Ready to take any blows the future Alpha wanted to endure on his baby girl. Augustus paid him no mind as he had the guard unlock her cell.

The Patterson's looked at what was happening in amazement but I was just smirking at the whole ordeal. Finally my best friend gets the upper hand. "Who locked my Mate up? I want whoever is involved in this in my office now!" He demanded in his Alpha tone.

"yes sir." Two of the guards that are always with him ran off.
