Naiya After ditching Dante and stealing his bike, I end up having to ditch it too as I realize the red ribbons lead the way into the woods. I follow my mate’s scent through the deep forest, ignoring the scorching sunlight as I push through. I don’t care about the sunlight anymore. I just want to get to them. I need to warn my sister that her mate is close. My skin stings as smoke comes out of it. I feel as if I’m burning up alive, but I have to carry on. I can’t even imagine what it will be like if Anastacia has to face that guy again. So, I just keep pushing through the woods, but it seems the track of ribbons has ended. I sniff the air, trying to find my mate’s scent, but come back short. Instead, I catch the scent of another wolf. Sure enough, a howl resounds in the distance.
