We stay living at the pack for a week while we wait to hear news from Noah. They receive us well, considering the circumstances. Of course, they don’t act as though we are part of the pack. Far from it, but as long as they continue treating us as guests I suppose it is alright.
The only one being kept at a distance is my sister. They aren’t mistreating her, but they act as if she isn’t there at all. In her turn, Naiya has been distancing herself from us more and more.
I’m worried about her. She has been through so much lately. Well, we all have, but I’m afraid she has taken a great toll on herself when Amelia took the dagger piece from her. I think she blames herself for that.
