The sound of my phone ringing jolts me awake. I open my eyes a c***k to check where it's ringing from. I pick the phone up from the bedside table and squint my eyes at the screen. It's Femi calling. I check the time and it says 11:25pm.
Why is this i***t calling me now?
I put the phone back down and move Desire a little so I can get up. She stirs a little and I freeze. I don't want to wake her up when she's finally having a dreamless sleep after a long time.
She goes back to sleep and I pick up my shorts from the floor and slip into it. My phone rings again and Desire stirs, I quickly grab it and leave the room to pick the call.
"Hello." Femi's voice comes through.
"Dude, why are you calling me by this time? I have to sleep, I have a flight to catch tomorrow." I yawn. I feel
