Terrified

MELODY'S POV~ I look at the dark walls of the prison that is making me tremble in fright. I am so scared that I am not even paying attention to the bleeding of my ankle. As I am an omega also a very week one, I can't heal faster. So, it will take me maximum two or three days to heal the injury caused by the rogue. On the way from the forest, I have learned that the people who killed the rogue group belong from a strong pack. However, I don't know which pack it is. "Mel, I want you to do something." Arya says through the mind link. "Umm okay but what is it?" I ask back. "I want you to shift into your wolf form." When her words register in my mind my eyes widen in fright. "But how can that happen? You know that I have been trying to shift yet it never works. So, how am I supposed to shift so suddenly?" I exclaim. "I know you have been trying to shift but it's not happening. However, for some reason I have a feeling that you will be able to shift now. Just try to concentrate on your inner voice." She says making me gulp in fear. I think about my wolf and focus really hard on getting her to shift. I surprise myself when it actually works. My clothes shredded into pieces in front of me and soon I am standing on all fours in my furry form. Excitement race through me and I admire my wolf briefly before I return my focus back on the task at my hand. Isla is not here with and that means that the warriors have put her somewhere else. But I can't let her be in danger knowing that she is in this situation only because of me. I am not sure what gives me the confidence but I muster all the energy that I have and sprint toward the metal bar as fast as I can. Pain curses throughout my whole body when I come in contact with the bars. I can now understand what the warrior has meant about the bars hurting me. The bars radiate electrical currents on impact. But when I notice the slight dent on the bars, I realize my efforts have taken an effect. Ignoring the pain that courses through my body every time I come in contact with the bars, I continue to attack the metal bars until I have created enough space for my small figure to escape through. I start running through the hallway while other prisoners holler like they are supporting me. I don't even know where to go because I don't know anything about this place. But I know that I have to reach Isla. I start to feel dizzy because of the blood flowing through the gush on my ankle. However, I don't have time to pay attention to it. Suddenly, I come to a halt when some warriors stand in front of me with an angry expressions. I look around frantically to see if there are any other ways to get away from here. But my luck can never be good because there is no way I can get away while the warriors are so close to me. "Let me take over." Arya says. "No, I can't do that. They will hurt you." I reply. "Mel, don't be stupid. You are already so weak because of the injury. Please let me take over so that I can help you." She pleads. "I am sorry, but I have to save you." By saying this, I cut off the mind link. "Ever since I saw you, I knew you were not right. You are not as innocent as you seem, otherwise no one tries to escape from the prison." One of the warriors says glaring at me. "I think we should inform the king about this." Another one suggests but the previous one shakes his head in denial. "If we start calling the king for every little thing then he will think that we are not capable of doing our job perfectly. In fact, I think we should teach this rogue a lesson that will earn us praise from the king." The first warrior remarks giving me a sinister smile at me. Suddenly, the warrior wraps his hand around my throat before lifting me from the ground. In fright, I change into my human form which leaves me in full naked in front of the warriors as well as the prisoners. "Damn! Look at the titties. I am sure they will taste heavenly." I hear a prison voice which makes me want to puke but right now I need to get out of the warrior's hold or I am sure that he will kill me. However, the more I struggle the more his holds tighten on me. Suddenly, a heavenly smell catches my attention making me want to rush toward the source. The smell of pine and charcoal has my inside doing a flip flop. But it seems like I really have a very bad luck because soon enough I feel like giving up as I am unable to get excess oxygen. The hold of the warrior is too much for me to handle which makes me lose the battle.
