Chapter 5

Mia's Pov I couldn't sense my wolf anymore even though I wasn't supposed to look for her , it was as if she never existed and I felt as If I was floating in the air. I listened to every command of Amelia, serving her, listening to her biting talks and how a perfect life awaits me rather than being with Lorenzo. She talked about Blue Stone Pack which sounded too familiar but I shrugged it off and just listened as if I was paid to do so. Deep down, I knew something was missing and I don't know what exactly as it wasn't my wolf. I craved its presence so badly that my whole body shook. Right now, I couldn't understand Amelia and her actions. She looked so scared, so paranoid as if she was running aways from something. "Are you going somewhere? I couldn't help but ask out of curiosity as she was busy folding her cloak and other items Into a bag hastily and she turned to glare at me. "Don't ask me silly questions and start packing, we're both leaving the cottage now!" Her voice was laced with urgency and as if I was controlled by a remote, I started packing too. Throwing all of my items in a haste. "Infact don't worry, everything would be given to you at Blue Stone Pack. Your Alpha would provide you with everything.." She uttered and I frowned deeply. "What Alpha are you talking about?" "Your new husband, now let's get out of here!" She ordered and before I could say another word, she grabbed my hand out of the room into the dark woods that had my skin pricked in fear. She was too fast, No! She was running and I was too tired. I felt like vomiting all of a sudden and the impact and force of the run made me clutch my stomach for support. I released her grip and let out all the puking content from the pit of my stomach to the bushy ground, groaning in frustration. "What exactly are we running from?" I yelled at her this time around, getting fed up with everything and her secretive acts. "You will know when we get there!" "No Amelia, I'm done playing this game with you and don't use your powers on me. I warned her and the expression on her face was shocking. She wasn't expecting to hear that from me and I wasn't expecting to say it either. "How did you-what do..you mean?" She asked in confusion. "I see your eyes Amelia, it glows each time you talk to me but it's normal for the others. I know that's your power so don't you dare use it on me and answer me!" I yelled at her and I began to feel authoritative which made my eyes a little bit clear and light headed. "I'm trying to help you, why are you being ungrateful?" "Where's my wolf? What have you done to her and I never said I needed your help!" I shrieked in pain at her. I was getting fed up already and the more I yelled at her, the more I realised that I was under her spell all this while. "Your wolf is fine but it's really distracting, we'll discuss when we reach Blue moon Pack, staying here in the dark is dangerous for you and your baby! Let's go!" She tried to use that authoritative tone on me again and when I was about to fire at her to stop it, Two men dressed in warrior attire appeared from nowhere and grabbed Amelia's arms. I gasped in shock and moved backwards and she let out a shrieking wail. "Tell the Alpha, we found her and the maid. We'll be there soon." One of the men told another and I just realised that there were more than four of them now gathered. "I'll mindlink him, he should be here any moment." Another replied the first man's and their grip on Amelia was extremely tight. "Run Mia! Get the hell out of here and run to the Blue Moon Pack." Amelia yelled at me in agony, her hair was now a mess as it scattered all over her face with a struggle. As much as I don't want to go to the Blue moon pack, I believed her words that I might get killed because of these men. They smelled awfully familiar but I was too scared to know where they came from. A hot slap was sent across her face and she cried that her voice echoed in the woods. "Don't let her take an Inch or Alpha would be terribly mad!" The man holding Amelia ordered hotly and the remaining two came for me while Amelia laughed. "It's useless you fools! She only listens to me no matter how hard you try!" She fired at them and I took slow steps backwards. "Get her now!" He ordered. "Run now Mia and don't look back." She fired and I hated this. I was confused on whether I should listen to Amelia or follow these strange guards but all of my thoughts were short lived when my legs started moving and I sprang into a hot run with the men chasing me wildly. Amelia's laugh of satisfaction echoed in the woods the moment I ran but what followed next was a heart spilling cry, the cry that made me stop on my track and immediately, something dead in me awoke. I felt a shocking feeling of urgency spread through me and a voice echoed. "Mate!" "Let's go to our mate Amelia!" It said again and I felt so confused. Was this my wolf, should I listen to her? I was torn in confusion but Amelia's voice was louder in my ears. "Don't listen to her Mia, I'm back now. Let's go meet him please, I need him." She whined desperately but all I could listen to was Amelia's voice. She told me to run so I was going to run so far away without looking back till I reached Blue stone Pack.
