Mia's Pov
I needed water, anything liquid to quench this burning thirst in my throat.
My feet burned, my lips were parched and dried and tears burned my eyes.
I didn't know where I was running to but I knew that a strong compelling force was leading me to somewhere.
I've been running for hours and all I wish for right now is to take a break and sleep. I was scared that this would make me lose my baby but I was still stubborn to continue.
The voice in my head yelled at me till it could yell no more but I was deaf in my way.
As much as I wanted to listen to her, to turn back and seek help, my body acted in one accord, trapping me with my actions.
I reached a particular place that smelled like Delphinium, it took me minutes to realise that these Delphinium flowers were circulated everywhere on the land and it became cold instantly.
My mouth formed an 'O' as I took in the environment, if it was sparkling with Blue flowers everywhere both on the valley and on the rocks.

I took a few more steps to observe my environment when I heard a deep authoritative voice that caused my whole body to tremble.
"What are you doing here?"
I turned and two men were staring deeply at me as if I came to steal the beautiful flowers.
"I…" I swallowed as I didn't even know what to say to them.
"She's a rogue spy!" One of them spat out and I shook my head negatively at them.
"No please, I'm not a rogue. I'm pregnant and I was sent here by Amelia!" I stuttered at the men, knowing it was useless to mention Amelia's name but I just couldn't help it.
They might kill me as they smelt so different and feral, as if they had a larger beast in them that might tear me limb to limb if I dared mess up.
"Do you think she's the one the Alpha is waiting for?" The man standing in front of me asked the other one without breaking eye contact with me and he shrugged.
"I don't know, she's pregnant. Just take her to the Alpha as we can't jump to conclusions right now." He said and what followed next was my arm being yanked forcefully out of the beautiful place we were standing.
We reached a larger and more beautiful place that was bustling with activities and liveliness, a huge blue gate slid open and we all walked inside.
Guards and maids were all focused on their duties till we entered a mansion that took my breath away.
I was about to admire the quality of the aesthetics in the house when I was transfixed at the man seated on the high chair that looked similar to the one Lorenzo usually sits on back at the pack.
He was a beauty to behold with arrogant features that displayed proudly from his face, his jaws and eyes were perfect, and when he fixed his gaze on me ; oh Lord! My heart flew away from the smirk he gave me which I found to be extremely sexy.
"Meeting dismissed, I'll schedule for another one." His deep voice oozed authority and he stood up from his chair, his guards bowed at him and there was no mistaking that he was an Alpha.
"We found her at the borders of the Pack Alpha and she claimed to be sent by Amelia though we are not certain about that." One of his men uttered and he smiled.
"She's beautiful" That was the only word that came out from his out and I almost blushed in stupidity.
I don't know who this man was so feeling relaxed by any gestures of his was inappropriate.
"Now I know why the other Alpha's were interested in her, what's your name, Angel?" He asked me softly and I swallowed nervously.
"I'm Mia," I whispered hoarsely at him and he smirked.
"It's lovely, I'm Archie. Come let me show you your room. You now officially belong to me and you're safe" He said softly and I don't know why a part of me believed him.
There was a look of disapproval from his men and the other guy standing beside him and when I took his lead to follow him, a sharp gasp escaped his lips.
"You can't do this Alpha! She's a Dark Knight!" He spat out as if he uttered a poison but the Alpha doesn't seem to budge.
"I don't care, she's mine now and I seem to like this one. Amelia did a good job and she smells so nice." Archie told the men but it seems the guards were displeased at his answer
"She's pregnant Alpha and we don't know who is responsible, Dark knight Pack is one of the most dreadful packs to mess up with especially when their Alpha treats his members like a gem. We know you need a Luna but not the one in Dark Knight please." They pleaded at him as the atmosphere changed immediately.
The smiling Archie turned to a demon as his eyes glowed crimson.
"One more word about Dark Knight again, I'll rip you all to pieces! I don't bloody care about a pack I can handle. Who the f**k did I appoint as guard and a beta if you're all acting like cowards?"
He roared at them and they all cowered.
"Everything about her is mine now and the earlier you accept that, the better for you all!" He turned to me and I swallowed.
"Let's go angel, you need a lot of rest." He told me sweetly and when I was about to nod in response, a loud bang echoed outside which startled everyone.
A guard barged inside looking like horror in his blood-drenched clothes and he bowed in fear.
"What the f**k is going on?" Archie yelled out in frustration.
"I'm sorry Alpha but I can't explain either except for the fact that a man is here, asking for a petite pregnant Lady! I d..d..don't know Alpha but he's killing Ruthlessly."
He shook with fear at every word he spewed and Archie growled.
"Take the girl Inside! I'll deal with him."
He ordered and in one swift move, he walked out.
