Erin and Takumi woke up early in the morning catching up to their plane at eight. Erin drove a car to the airport. He didn’t say a single word during the ride. They put all of their suitcases and were now waiting inside for the gate to open. For how long are people going to stare at my face. Takumi frowned. His lips were cured downwards and slightly parted. “Sorry young master. I know that it is uncomfortable for you to get stared at by this many people so suddenly but there is no way to hide your face,” sighed Erin as they were walking to the gate. “You don’t need to worry about this,” he agonized. “Would you like to eat anything,” asked Erin looking very delighted. “I am not hungry right now. You can go eat if you want to,” he said indifferently. “Is there something bothering you, young master, you don’t look delighted to be getting away from the Duke and Mikael,” Erin questioned with an eyebrow raised in confusion. “I am delighted,” he blurted. “Umm, young master I am happy to know that you are feeling satisfied but, why do you never smile?” Erin baffled as he scratched his chin. “I smile when the time is right.” He stood up and walked towards the bathroom. While Takumi was washing his hands he looked in the mirror and thought about what Erin asked him. Smiling huh? I had already forgotten what that feels like. I don’t even remember the last time I felt delighted. Takumi was walking back to where they were sitting as he saw people entering the boarding gate. “We should get going.” “Yes young master,” he responded weakly as he put on his backpack and walked behind Takumi to the gate. In the airplane, their seats were next to each other. Takumi sat on the inner seat next to the window.  The sound of the roaring engine fired before the plane started to speed up and flew in the waste sky. At first, he felt the noise getting under his skin. His ears were plugged and his feet started feeling sore, but after a while he didn’t seem to mind it anymore. By that time, Erin was already deep in sleep. Takumi didn’t look away from the window, trying to attract as least attention as possible. The waitress was handing launch from her cart and came to take their orders. “Hello gentlemen, what would you like to have?” He looked away from the window and faced the waitress as he said, “do you have steak?” The waitress started staring at his face without blinking. Takumi rolled his eyes and sighed again. “Can I have my order now?” “Uh, yes, I am very sorry,” she countered suddenly in surprise. She gave him his meal and went over to the next passenger. Takumi averted his face as fast as he could; having his soft blond, cluttered wild bangs cover his face and gently sliding past his pale neck. He continued staring out of the window as he ate. He reached Tokyo’s airport after long, exhausting hours of sitting still on a chair with not much space for moving around or even stretching his feet. “The flight was very exhausting. I wish I could be in a bed now,” said Erin looking moody and worn out. “I told you not to follow me along, but you insisted on joining,” he answered bluntly, expressionless. “You are right. When am I ever of any use to you?” he sounded pettish when he rushed his way out of the airport. Tokyo’s airport wasn’t much different from England’s, they were both very crowded with all kinds of people, but the bright cherry blossom trees blooming proudly, throwing their petals all over the airport through the windows was what individualised the place and shimmered in Takumi’s eyes. He walked along the way with Erin following the signs carrying his suitcases. He had a very small navy blue suitcase and a small bag hanging from his shoulder which he used to place in what he needed to use during the trip. Likewise, Erin had a much larger black suitcase and a large backpack on his back. They slowly headed outside. Walking past the cherry blossom trees as the petals covered the ground, giving off a pinkish aura. They got in one of the taxis waiting outside the airport's doors. “Where are you headed?” asked the driver. “We would like to get off at Shiomi,” replied Takumi fluently. “Now that’s a beautiful place, but the houses there sure are quiet expensive. Well, that is understandable since it is a really nice place. Where did you come from? Are you rich?” “Excuse me, but don’t you think you are asking so many unnecessary questions?” “Ha-ha, kids these days sure aren’t friendly.” he laughed before starting the engine. Erin fell asleep as soon as the car started moving. Takumi, on the other hand, kept on thinking very restlessly as he looked very dense and couldn’t seem to relax. When they reached the place almost an hour later it was night again. “Thank you. We will get off here,” he said. Erin woke up looking dazed when he found out that it was night and Takumi wasn’t in the car. He got stunned and rushed out of the car thoughtlessly. Takumi was taking out the suitcases from the back, unusually Erin didn’t show a reaction. “Young master, why didn’t you wake me up? I could have at least helped you pick up the bags,” Erin pouted. “You were sleeping so I thought of letting you sleep some more.” “Young master, am I that much of a bother?” he cried. “I am tired let's hurry and walk to the house.” he walked as he pulled the suitcases along. Erin looked very depressed and walked after him. It was quite a long walk and Erin started looking as pale as a corpse, seeking for its last ray of light. Takumi stopped in front of a two story orange and beige villa. It was surrounded with the most cherry blossom trees and the moonlight perfectly balanced on the door. Takumi placed his hand in his left pocket and grabbed a key out. He carefully placed it in the lock and twisted it open. The lights switched on as soon as they walked in. It was a big luxurious villa, as expected of something his grandfather would buy. The villa was furnished with classical black and white furniture. Erin rushed to the bathroom, meanwhile, Takumi went upstairs taking out his belongings and placed them on the shelves. “Do you need any help, young master?” asked Erin after getting out of the bathroom. “No. go rest. I can see that you are much tiered.” Erin forced a flustered smile and tangled his fingers between his hair strands. “Then if you can excuse me, I’ll be going to bed,” said Erin before he walked to the last room in the hall. Takumi went in for a quick hot bath after he finished unpacking his luggage, before he got formally dressed again and headed outside. The breeze had gotten chillier than before. It was almost midnight as he kept on looking for some supermarkets. After walking a short distance, he came across a decent store. He got in grabbing a trolley from inside and started walking around. He grabbed a few meats and eggs. He then went to supermarkets’ bakery, getting different types of bread and lastly, getting a few packs of ramen noodles and spices. He got back to the house and placed the food in the fridge. He unwrapped the meat and started washing it, before adding few spices on top. He then placed it in the oven and waited for the timer to turn off. Takumi grabbed his phone out of his pocket, clicking straight on google maps. He typed in the search box, ‘Seifuku’ and waited until it finished loading. He found a few locations for it and decided to click on the one closest to his house, accurately memorizing its location. I guess I’ll have to go buy the uniform tomorrow, since school starts on Monday. The timer went off and he opened the oven. Placing his stake on a plate, he rushed to the dining table to start devouring it. There are only three things worth caring about in this life; food, exercise and books. Other than that this life is worthless.
