First day of school

He woke up early in the morning, by the sound of his ringing alarm. The cherry blossom trees’ branches were gently tapping on his window as it was covered with the trees’ bright petals. He grabbed his phone checking the time and date, Monday six in the morning, before rushing to the bathroom.  He opened his wardrobe and found one piece of clothing which he bought last night. The uniform was a normal white shirt with a black sweater, black trousers, and a black tie. He went downstairs after getting ready and was putting on his sneakers when Erin got out of his room. “Young master, will you be starting from today? I could have prepared breakfast.” “You may do so next time. I already made some eggs and bacon. You can go help yourself.” He grabbed his grey backpack and shut the door behind him. *** People started pushing and racing each other as soon as the bus opened its doors. Why do they need to rush in like this? He waited outside allowing others to get in, waiting for the crowd to abate before getting in. As soon as the bus doors closed, he started getting squeezed which he didn’t like. There wasn’t a single empty chair or even an empty spot to stand on. He clenched his teeth, rubbing one of his hands on his hair while the other held the pole lightly as people seemed to be squeezing him onto it. No wonder people were wrestling their way through. People in front of him were staring restlessly at him before he evaded his eyes, locking them on the metal pole. I should have researched better. It was eight thirty now and he finally reached the school. Taking him an hour exactly. He walked a few steps after getting off the station and finally reached the school’s gate. He stopped his feet from moving any further allowing his eyes to analyse. The gate was a normal metal door. The building’s colour was faint and dirty. The building itself was pint-sized. He started walking again and got inside. The field could barely be called a field; smaller than a kid’s playground. There were barely any students, almost not any at all outside. Looks like a nice place. I guess I did my research properly this time. Hopefully no one would know about the Walker family. He walked inside the building and could easily detect the assembly hall, where everyone was rushing to. It was right in front of the entrance; less than a few feet away. He walked inside a hall without a single light bulb. It had massive glass windows allowing the sunlight to shine through. Everyone was sitting on the wooden ground. The petite hall was crowded with people from all three grades. He walked inside and sat next to the wall—next to a guy with long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. “Yo, am Makoto. You can call me Mak-kun what’s yor name dude?” asked the guy sitting next to him. “I am Takumi Hisashi,” he responded. “Where ya from? You don’t look Asian.” He was raising an eyebrow, putting his fingers on his chin and keeping his gaze at Takumi. “why would an international student be in this stinky school?” “I am afraid that you are misunderstanding something. I am a fully-fledged Japanese guy,” he answered. “Wow, your language is very formal and elite! That’s awesome you look like some prince from a manga! But you won’t trick me. If you were really Asian, then why is yor hair blond? You can’t trick my powerful eyes!” He laughed and slapped Takumi’s back. “I am afraid that you are letting your imagination run very wild. Is dyeing my hair that weird?” he moved Makoto’s hand away from his back and sat a bit further. “Oh, so you dyed it! I didn’t take you for a delinquent. But yar still too handsome. Are you a half? Which school did you come from? Were you living overseas before? Ya like soccer?” Takumi closed his eyes as he held his nose’s bridge before releasing another sigh. “The assembly is about to start you might want to be quiet until the assembly ends.” “Wow, so you are the dark mysterious type. Maybe you were even working with the mafia! Awe-some!” “Good morning everyone I am the principle Kuro-sensei. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready to smash your second or third year. As for our new students. I hope you got along with each other last week and I hope you enjoy this year, at Hetalia high school. Just a reminder; a table will be displaced outside to show which class each of you will be in. We have two classes for the second and third years; A and B.” “Ah by the way since you are new I should probably warn you from the president,” whispered Makoto. “What do you mean?” asked Takumi, turning his sight towards Makoto. “Yes, yes. She becomes a true devil! Believe me, a devil! A real devil,” he cried. “Now I will let your student council president take over,” the principle announced. “My name is Erica Amon, I am a third-year student and I will be the student council president again this year.” She was taller than average and her figure was much fuller and muscular than most. She had long, light brown hair tied up in a tight ponytail. She had light, ginger coloured, almond shaped eyes and stood on the stage with her back completely straight and her hands hanging to her sides. Her tan face barely showed an emotion other than aggressiveness. Her eyes seemed to be glaring at the crowd with no hint of anxiety. “Because this is a small school with students not adding more than fifty, most students especially males, start to misbehave, feeling too casual. The second and third year students already know that I leave no place for games, and any misbehaving will lead in the principal’s office. Many students come here to learn and study, not to have to deal with other people’s misbehaviours or get distracted because of them. Rules are rules and must be followed unquestionably and don’t even think about skipping your cleaning duties,” she paused looking at the right side of the hall and raising her finger that way. “You three boys at the back, stand up! I can see that you are eating, not wearing the school’s plain white shirt or the black trousers, as well as having piercings in your ears and unnatural hair colours. Truly disrespectful! You three will be responsible for the cleaning duty of the bathrooms. That is all!” the students seemed to be laughing and whispering amongst each other.  “Hoi, as if am going to listen to you! I’m going to do whatever I wish! I’m not going to listen to a stupid girl,” a boy with red hair stood up shouting.  “Ok, I don’t mind. I will play your games, but keep this in mind if you disobey the school rules I am going to MAKE you obey them, either you want to or not! Keep this in mind. This is a school, a place for education, not for playing around. Do that outside of school.” The teachers looked satisfied with her speech and were having a wide grin across their faces. All the students were still whispering and sighing as she walked away. These childish behaviours are so annoying. Why should you care about what others do? Erika had left the stage and the teachers dismissed the students. Takumi left the room along with the other students as he started getting too much attention. He tried to ignore the crowd and continued walking. There were only two classes for the third years. Top three grades for the first class and the rest of the three in the other class. He was in the first class with other ten students. “Whoa! Yor in the first class.” Makoto was very surprised as he walked towards him. “Well see you later,” he said firmly and walked away. “Come on! Let’s be friends,” he begged.
