Mallory's Pov continues

Mom and dad rushed into my room.

"A nightmare?" She asked as she hugged me.

I sobbed against her shoulder and dad stroked my hair.

"She killed me, mom." I said after a while and she pulled away from me.

"What did you just say?........ Who killed you?"

"By really long and irritating nails."

"That's one of the characteristics of Glewn descendants."

"Does that mean they've known who I am and they are coming after me?"

"Yes, my child. They are coming after you and someone else."

"Someone else? Who? You, dad, Kelvin, Max, Kacie? Who, mom?"

"No, Mal. Someone of greater value to you. With this person, they'd get to you."

"But, I have no one like that."

"Its a matter of the heart, Mal." Dad said as he nodded.

And then, it struck me.

The only one who is in my heart right now is...........Jacob!

"Ella!" I whispered as I looked at mom. "I saw her in my dream."

"And, have you seen this Ella girl before?"

"Yes, dad. She is a new student at school and I noticed some things about her.

"What are those things?"

I explained to them and mom nodded.

"So, who is this Jacob guy?" She asked and I blushed.

"We have our answers then." She said. "Protect this Jacob like he is your life and all would go well. If he goes down, you are also going down, Mallory. I don't want to loose you." She said as her voice shook and I hugged her again.

"Thanks mom, thanks dad."

I pulled away from her and she stood up.

"Get some sleep if you can." Dad said before going out of the room with mom.

I doubt if I can go back to sleep right now.

I looked at the time, few minutes past twelve.

Today is another day!

I picked my phone and I switched it on.

I changed his name once again and I smiled, "My life."

If you go down, I'm also going down.

I will protect you with the powers within me, Canavesi!

I opened his message and I laughed.

Now you know you were a jerk.

I hope its not too late to call?

I glanced at the wall clock once more and I looked at my phone.

I blinked when his call came in.

I picked.

"Hello........" I said as if I was still sleeping.

"I'm sorry for calling this late. Its just that I had a nightmare and I wanted to know if you were okay."

My ears twitched.

"Tell me about it." I said as I propped against a pillow.

"Its too late to talk about things like this. Let's meet later today after school, if possible, I have a lot of things to tell you."

"Oh really.......?"

"Yes.......back to what happened earlier today, I get it if you don't want to talk about your school and I won't........"

And then, we got carried away with our conversation, with me laughing, giggling, Jacob, chuckling, groaning and then, I looked at the time mistakenly.

"No way!"

"What's that?"

"Look at the time."

"Holy sh*t! We've been on the phone for two hours, Mallory."

"I can see that."

"You are indeed my wonder woman. With you, everything but you, fades away and don't forget our chem..."

I blushed madly.

How I wish he knows the real me, not a fake me.

"Bye Jacob, let's meet later today."

"Bye, angel."

He ended the call

I placed the phone on my chest and I smiled.

I like this side of Jacob a lot.

I'm gonna meet another Jacob in school.

But, he won't know I am the same as his wonder woman.

What if he finds out?

His hatred towards me would probably increase, right?

Maybe its better if he doesn't find out.

Ella's Pov

I was about to leave the cubicle in the ladies when someone poked me from behind and my nails came out automatically.

I stretched it out to strike the person but a forceful field came my way and I willed out my powers to prevent me from hitting the ground.

Another one came from my right side and I used my other hand to stop it.

"Whoever is doing this, show your face." I said amidst pants and then, I noticed it, time had stopped, everywhere was still.

I saw Mallory walking out of a cubicle and she pointed a finger at me.

"I know who you are, Ella Brandton." She said gently. "Darkness has no power over light, just know that and you will never get Jacob cos I would be watching him from now on."

She knows?

"Don't be too shocked." She said as she smiled. "You were so foolish to have shown up in my dream last night."

Crap!

That stupid realm tonic I took yesterday!

It took me to Mallory's dream instead of another.

"And, those nails are really disgusting. Try to keep it away from me. You have been warned, Ella. Don't mess with the daughter of light."

She turned around and she walked away.

The field died down and I felt relieved.

Time picked up again and I adjusted my clothing.

I went over to the sink and I washed my hands.

Mallory is much more powerful than I thought.

I couldn't even do anything to stop her.

Instead, those fields rendered me powerless and my fingers are back in.

I would never get Jacob?

I laughed to myself as I remembered the enchanted bracelet I had in my bag.

Jacob has to see me wearing it alone, and then, it is boom!

I will use him the way I like and I will suck his life source dry.

I have to block out Mallory from sensing my every movement.

After drying my hands, I went out, ready to start day 2 of my quest.

Mallory's Pov

Geez!

Facing the devil herself is as tough as well!

I didn't know where that courage came from but I did it anyway.

I feel something dangerous is gonna happen soon but I can't see it.

It was as if I was blocked out from the vision realm.

I glanced sideways at Ella and I saw her smiling as she looked at the teacher in front of the class.

I smiled too.

She knows I was looking at her.

Bad b***ch!

The teacher went out and another one replaced him immediately.

"Good morning, everyone." Miss Sam, our sports instructor greeted.

"Good morning to you too, Miss Sam." Half of the class chorused, with me included.

Most of the students in class lack common respect.

"We are gonna do something spectacular today. I just left the JARS and they agreed to it."

I became interested.

"We are gonna group ourselves into four groups of 9 each since we are all 36."

Okay, go on!

85% of the girls in class raised their hands and I smiled.

"No, girls. You all can't be in J's group alone."

I laughed out loud and everyone turned to look at me with a deadly look.

"Keep it down, Mallory!"

"Yes, ma'am." I said quickly and they looked away.

"So, this is what we are gonna do................emmmm.......Mallory, Kacie, Ria and.............she looked around "Ella, right?"

"No, Diva."

"There is an Ella in this class?"

We looked at Ella but she didn't say anything.

Bad girl!

"Okay, the names I called and you Diva, step forward."

We stood up and we went to the front of the class.

"Dip your hand in that bag and take out a folded paper each."

The students began to mumble and I smiled.

This would be so much fun!

I picked mine and Kacie looked at me.

She touched a paper and I shook my head.

She touched another one and I nodded.

We just cheated!

I smiled again as Ria and Diva picked theirs.

We showed it to miss Sam and she nodded. "Okay, we have the female leader for the groups. Mallory for Jacob.........." She trailed off as they started to throw their books, bags, shoes at us, in front of the class.

Miss Sam took her books and she hurried out of the class.

I took Kacie's hand and we ran out of the class too.

"Students of upper class A are crazy students." Kacie told me and I agreed with her.

"Excluding us!"

She stopped and she looked at me.

"Don't you think you are crazier?"

"Kacie!!!!!!!"
