I sat on a chair as Arthur stood in front of me.
"Think about what I said, Kacie." He said as he took my hand. "I hardly confess my feelings to a girl but I feel you should be honoured."
I smiled as I looked into his eyes, pure affection!
I blushed as I placed my other hand on his hand.
"I'm so sorry but........"
"Don't complete it. I don't want to hear it. I don't want my heart to be broken." He finished and I couldn't help but laugh.
"You don't know what I want to say!" I protested.
"Okay, fine, say it."

Mallory's Pov
I saw Ella walking towards Jacob, so that, he was in between Ella and I.
I saw a smirk on her face and I knew what I saw was true after all.
This is it!
"Hey, Canavesi!" I yelled and he stopped "Looking for me?"
He turned slowly to face me and I glanced over his shoulder at Ella, she had a large frown on her face. She turned away and she ran out of sight.
Jacob came towards me and I braced myself for the worst. He grabbed my hand and.................man, that tingling sensation, he pulled me into their classroom. He closed the door and he looked at me angrily.
God, help me!
Its just the two of us in here!
"What happened to my lunch?" He asked as he walked towards me, I kept moving backwards.
"I........I........." I stuttered and then, the bell rang.
"Thank goodness!" I murmured as I tried to walk away, he placed his arm around my waist to still me.
"Where do you think you are going?" He asked gently.
"Don't forget I can flip you over." I warned him, also in a gentle tone.
"I wanna see you try!" He replied gently again.
"Guys, you need to see............." Scott trailed off as he opened the door. "Oops! Am I interrupting something?"
"Jacob, you........... Wow!" Ray chimed in "This is really beautiful, Jacob and Mallory?"
I rolled my eyes.

Release me!
Arthur also walked in and his eyes widened.
Will Jacob please release me?
"Let me go, Jacob!"
"No, just flip me over like you said!"
"I don't want to." I whispered.
I don't really think he needs to see my viciousness again, I'm not gonna use my powers against him either, according to dad, no more powers but this isn't about dad, it has everything to do with me.
What's happening to me?
"Let me go!" I repeated calmly and he let me go immediately.
I staggered and I lost my footing, I met myself on the floor.
Jacob bursted into wild series of laughter.
"I thought you were vicious Mal." He pointed a finger at me. "Let this be the last time, Mallory. I don't joke with my food."
"But you said............."
"Shhhh, Scott."
I stood up and I went out of their classroom without uttering a word to anyone.

Ella's Pov
Oh my world!
I didn't know he was this handsome.
Something seems really off?
With what I saw, they hate each other in school and then outside school, with the masks and all, they are best of friends?
This is really great and annoying.
I have to get to them before they discover the truth about each other.
This would be so much fun!
I have not even introduce myself to him, I planned on doing that if "she" hadn't interrupted.
How did she even know something was about to happen back there?
I think she sees into the future.
I hope she has not figured out who I am 'cos I can't be exposed, not now.
My nails itched to come out and I willed them back inside.
They can come out now.
Not now!
I can't destroy her now!
Its still early!
As for Jacob, tomorrow is another day.

Mallory's Pov
I couldn't go back to class, so, I went to the sick bay instead. I laid on a bed and I closed my eyes.
Even though dad told me not to use my powers again, I didn't do that because of his instruction.
I did it because of me.
I saw right through him back there and it was as if I know him more than what I see.
I feel like everything he is doing is just a facade to hide his real sef.
Well, whatever!
Its not like I care anyway.
I really have to stop using my powers now.
My phone beeped and I checked it.
Jake: the woman with the super power!
I giggled as I replied.
Me: don't be so annoying.
Jake: oh yeah? Am I? :'(
Me: don't tell me you're crying.
Jake: :p don't tell me you fell for that. Enough of that, I wanna see you again.
I laughed.
Me: I'm in school right now.
Jake: oh yes! What's the name of your school? I might drop by later on
Should I tell him?
I am the only student on scholarship in a school as prestigious as Jewels High, how would he take this?
Would he feel disgusted or irritated?
Jake: Hello, are you still there?
Me: of course
Jake: so, tell me.
Me: oh my goodness! I really have to go, a teacher is calling for me, gotta go, talk to you later.
I left the conversation in a hurry.

I jumped as my phone started to ring.

"Pick up, you angel!" I muttered as I kept on dialling her number.
She didn't pick again.
Is she trying to avoid the issue of her school or what?
I don't understand this.
"That should be a girl. Tell me about her, my wonder woman." Scott whispered into my ear and I smacked his head.
"Ouch!" He wailed.
"Keep it down, guys!" Ray cautioned and I glared at him.
"Arthur, you have pink spots on your cheeks." I teased him and he tossed his phone away.

He's chatting with a girl!
"Scott, torture the info outta him."
"Sure!"
Scott stood up and Arthur was out of the class in seconds.
He ran after him.
"You guys are something else." Ray said as he shook his head.
"Get a girl if it affects you a lot."
"Get a girl? Nah! No girl would ever catch my heart except........." He trailed off and I sighed.
"That's good for you, then. Wait till you see the girl who has gotten my heart, it was love at first sight for me. You would wish to have a girl like her."
I saw his eyes widen "You are dating someone? You didn't tell any of us?"
"Shut it, dude. I'm dating no one but I plan to."
"You plan to? Don't bother asking her out, I feel it won't last."
"Is that meant to be a blessing or a curse?"
"Whatever it is, I only said my mind. Have fun, dude but trust me, it won't last." He said again and my mood changed totally.

I picked up my phone and I sent an angry text to her.
"If you don't want to talk about your school, let's drop it, its not like I care anyway."
I dropped the phone and I went out of the classroom, leaving Ray behind.
Now, I have a headache.
A throbbing one at that!
I need to rest my head, mind and heart and the sick bay is a place for that.
