The Curse of Mystic Valley

Chapter 8

 I am in love with my house, and I learned that it has been in Cora and Connor’s family for over three hundred years I wonder why they didn’t mention that the plantation belonged to them. I also really enjoyed Kayden’s company he was suck a perfect gentleman and he asked if he could come hang out with me when we finished dinner at Cora’s so I wouldn’t be alone I told him that was fine I would enjoy the company we got back to office, and I told him that I needed to meet Cora in the Archive room he was welcome to join us. We took the elevator to the basement and went to the Archive room and waited for Cora. She came about 2 minutes after us and she came in and told her that we found this at the plantation and we are unable to open it and she looked and she walked over one of the lock boxed in that wall and pulled a box and she brought it over and she unlocked it and she opened it and in the box was a full set of  keys from the early  1700s I put gloves on while I started to inspected the key and suddenly just like when I was looking that fireplace a voice spoke to me and told me that it will have the moon on it and a wolf.

 So, I started to looked at the keys and I asked Cora after I looked at the keys and none contained a moon and wolf if she has such key and she said she has one more box of keys and she brought that one over and I looked through that one and I was about half ways through the next one when I see a platinum color key with a wolf and moon on. I pulled it out of the box and then the voice told me that once you open this box it will change your life and will show you your true destiny. I shook my head because it was not like anyone else could hear the voice. I thought I was going crazy.

I looked over and Kayden and Cora were staring at me, I asked her what was going on she said that I look like I had something on my mind I told her that if told them what is going on they might think I am crazy and She looked at me with a smile and told me to try her and I took a deep breathe in and exhaled and said to them both I have been hearing a voice in my head tell me what to look for all day today, I look at Kayden and ask him about the way I was looking at the fireplace earlier and he said yes, I said that was the first time I heard and then I felt some type of energic pull.

Then now when we started looked at the boxes with the keys and the voice told me what I was looking for and then when I opened this box and found the key the voice told me that once I open the box that I will change my life and will show me my true destiny. I am lost because I don’t know what that means I really don’t know I am just a girl from Virigina. I am a bit scared to open this box, Kinsley, don’t be afraid to embrace change and accept you fated destiny the voice spoke again. I closed my eyes and then I opened them again and I reached for the box, and I stuck the keys and turned it and then I popped the lids and inside was a blue sapphire moon shaped with a wolf sketch inside of it.

The voice told me to pick it up you are the only person in this room that can pick up. Embrace your destiny. Kayden, walks over from the other side of the table when he notices that I am sitting here fighting with myself about picking up the amulet, he walks over to me and he grabs cups my chin and lightly pulls my face up and my eyes meet his and he says you can do this, you will not be alone, Embrace the future and I know you feel that energy because I know I do and Auntie Cora can you feel the pull, she looks over at the both of us and she told yes that she feels it as well. I let out a loud sigh, I asked Kayden to please stand next to me and He looks at with me smile and says he’s not going anywhere. Take off the gloves my child, you will be fine everything will be explained shortly, Embrace the power, your destiny. I picked up that Amulet and as soon as I did a big cloud of purple and blue smoke start to fill the room and next thing, I know everything turns black.

I walked near this beautiful lake I see what look like ghost of wolfs running in the meadow next to me and I keep walking and sitting under a big Magnolia tree is this unbelievably beautiful women she had snow white hair and bright golden eyes. She calls my name and tells me to come over to her and tells me to come and sit down next too. I sit down next to her and a minute later two animals came towards us one of them was a white wolf with solid white fur with a purple glow and purple eyes and the next was a 9-tail fox also was solid white and with a pinkish purple flow and pink eyes, and they sat next to the beautiful women. She then introduced herself she said her name was Selene and she is the Full Moon Goddess, the mother of all werewolves and her sister Hecate is the Waning Moon Goddess the mother of all Witches, I look at her like she was crazy what was she trying to tell me? Was she going to seat her and tell me that Werewolves and Witches are really? NO f*****g WAY!! IF THEY ARE WHAT DOES IT HAVE TO DO WITH ME DAMN IT. She giggles and starts to be talking to the wolf that was sitting next to her she said to her “Amora, if you think that you can talk to her and get her to believe us your more than welcome to try.” 

I look at her and this wolf and the wolf gets up and walks towards me and she rubs on me, and I start petting her, she purrs like a cat I giggle she looks at me and she started to talk, when she does, I recognize her voice she was the voice that was in my head. I look at her and say you were the one talking to be today, weren’t you?

She nuzzles into my lap and says “yes, my child my name is Amora, I am your wolf spirit, I have been with you since the day you were conceived, My Mother Selene pairs our spirits with souls that she believes deserved and that she feels will be able to do the job that she has set out for them. You are blessed as a rare wolf a white wolf we are the oldest spirits and the most powerful we have abilities that no other wolves have when you shift for the first time and you, and I connect you will unlock abilities and I will teach you how to harness and control them as well.

Next, I would like to introduce to your Familiar she is your witch’s animal spirit she will guide you through a lot of different things you will learn as a witch her name is Piper, she has been with you just if I have, and she know all the magic abilities that you can control and harnessing. Now child I know this is a lot to take in you are the descendant of Cora and Connor’s Daughter you and your brother are the strongest when you combine powers. Are time is running short my child, I will be with you in your mind daily, you and I can communicate no matter what some with Piper, Cora will be the person that will explain everything, and she will be the one that will guide you through your training, Now that you seem to except your destiny and faith My child and Amora and Piper are now one with you I will leave you and if you need me, I will answer when I can  but Amora and Piper are always able to answer for me.

 I love you Kinsley and you will make me and everyone else proud. I hear Kayden, calling my name I am fluttering my eyes and I finally come to me was laying on the floor, Kayden was looking at me and all sudden Amora, comes forward in my mind and say MATE! And starts wagging her tail. Kayden looks at me and he moves a piece of hair out of my face and says MATE! He kissed me on the cheek, and I smile he helps me up and I get up and I look for the Amulet and it was the sitting on the table it was still glowing I felt the power the magic coming off it when Piper pops up next to me and sits on the table and she purrs I asked her and Amore do they think they are cats? I deadpanned. The five of us started laughing like crazy, Amora growls at me and I tell her know that’s better you’re a wolf not a cat. Piper, barks, and she sounded so cute.

Piper finally tells me that I need to put the Amulet on she tells me that it will help me harness and control my power and my energy. I smiled and thanked her, Kayden comes over and wraps his arms around me and kissed my head and says is everything beautiful, I smile and told him that I’m trying to process everything. Cora finally talks she is smiling from ear to ear. She comes over to me and says My 10x great grandchild you are so special; I will answer any question that you have, and I will help you learn spells and control your magic and your energy you have made us proud.
