The place was all too familiar, the same faces of people I walk through every day, the same buildings and corridors I see every day as I walk down, and it isn’t supposed to be anything out of the ordinary now. This place, if anything, I should be comfortable here now. But somehow, the idea of living in the same building as Caspian and Caelan made me uneasy.
“Mommy~~ when are we going to go up?? I’m hungry already!!” Caspian whined beside me as we sat in one of the lounge areas in the apartment. I looked at him and he pouted at me while swinging his legs around impatiently on the seat.
“Just a little longer, okay? We’re waiting for your father.” I explained, stroking his hair a little, which made him smile for a moment before frowning again.
