"So how was your first official day? Did it go the way you expected it to be?" Jill asked as soon as I got seated in her office. She had summoned me before going home, hence the reason for my visit.
"Well...it went well, surprisingly. I really wasn't expecting this, but I can't say I didn't think it would turn out this way either."
"How so?" She asked, eyebrows raised in question as I folded my legs a little. Her office seems to be less threatening and more comfortable now. Not that it wasn't before, but it's just me.
