P.O.V. jack

I woke up to my dad pounding on my door telling me to get up so that we could start getting stuff ready to bring over to bring over to the girls house.

“I am up dad...i'm going to take a shower then ill be down”i yell back grabbing clothes and head to the shower.

‘I hope she accepts us when she realizes we are her mate’onyx says.

‘She will or she will make us work for it’

‘I dont think its a good idea for us to go over there without the boys. We should make it harder for her to figure out who we are’

‘I agree that they should go...i will talk to dad about it’ i say getting out of the shower, get dressed and head down stairs. I walk into the kitchen and sit down. I see dad pulling meat of of the freezer.

“Hey dad onyx brought something up and i agree with him...we should bring the boys so that its harder for her to figure out who her mate is until she shifts” i say fiddling with the hole in my jeans.

“I agree. Thats why i asked the boys to go over with us” he says closing the freezer and looking at me.

“Where are the boys any way” i ask right as my mother Rose walks in.

“They are in the basement trying to find our big cooler” she says hugging my father.

“What if she rejects us when she finds out we are her mate?”onyx and i say at the same time.

“Oh honey, why do you think she will reject you?” my mom asks.

“Because, she hates me...she thinks i am a jerk...and that i think im better than everyone just cause im next in line to be alpha” i say looking down.

“Well she doesnt know you very well. So dont worry...but im going to get read. Why dont you go find the boys and help them.” she says walking out of the kitchen.

I smile and head towards the basement. I start to walk down the stairs and see the boys huddled around a box. I stop next to thomas.

“What are you guys doing?” i ask looking over thomas’ shoulder and see a family photo of ren, beth and her parents i think. Thomas hands me the photo and looks at me confused.

“Why do your parents have a box full of photos and stuff of Rens family?” he asks

“I have no idea...but im going to find out” i say grabing the other photos from everyone and putting them back in the box and pick up the box and start to head towards the stairs. I stop on the first step.

“Find the cooler boys so we can start packing up” i say and head up stairs. I walk to my parents room and knock on the door.

“Come in” i hear my mother say in a sing song voice on the other side. I walk in and shes sitting infront of her mirror. I set the box down on her bed.

“Why do you have a box full of photos of rens family?” i ask sitting down next to the box. My mom sighs and gets up and sits on the other side of the box and pulls out the photo thomas and i were looking at. She looks at it with a sad look on her face.

“I have these because rens mother was my best friend, we used to be apart of the same pack until we each found our mates...a few wekks before the rogue attack she sent me a letter askingme if anything happened to them to move the girls foo pack lands...she never explained why and i should of asked why. I know what happened and i know what the rogues said to the girls….so after i found out their parents were killed we moved the pack and then moved the girls too”

“Is that why dad made me move schools when i hit high school” i ask looking at her sad face.

“Yes that is why so that you could keep an eye on ren without us actually telling you what was going on we knew from a very young age that you guys were mates” she says setting the photo back into the box.

“Now enough talking about sad times...i need to finish and you need to help your father” she says shooing me out of her room.

P.O.V. ren

I wake up to beth jumping on me.”HAPPY BIRTHDAY” she yells very loudly.

“Oh my god. Get off” i yell pushing her off of me and on to the floor. She lands with a loud thud.

She starts laughing “ every year i do this and every year you get stronger and its easier to push me off of you...but it never gets old” she says getting up.

“Im getting in the shower now” i say getting up and heading for the bathroom.

“I have an outfit for you to wear today” she says walking out of the room. I sigh worried about what she got fot me.

‘Why are you so worried about what she wants you to wear?’ someone says in my head making me jump.

‘Who are you?’ i ask freaked out.

‘Oh im sorry...im pheonix… im your wolf’ she says chuckling.

‘Back to my question...why are you worried?’ she asks me again.

I sigh ‘im worried because im sure she knows who my mate is and she is going to put me into something sexy or flashy’ i say rinsing my hair.

‘Come on were sexy and gorgous we should show our selves off’ she says giddily.

I ignore her and get out of the shower wraping my self in a towel and walking into my room to find out what my sister had for me. I walk over to my bed and see a black jacket, blood red shirt, black jeans with holes in them and knee high biker boots.

‘Ok i love her style….were gonna look hot as hell in this’ she says as o shake my head and start getting dressed.

I walk out of my room to the smell of sasage bacon and eggs. I walk into the kitchen and see beth putting the food on plates.

“You go have a seat i will bring the food over” she says. I sit down in my spot just as she sets my plate down in front of me.

“I got my wolf this morning” i say as i take a bite of my sasage.

“Oh yeah? Whats her name?” she asks taking a bite of her food.

“Her name is pheonix...shes hoping that we find our mate tonight….i could careless if i meet him or not” i say taking another bite.

“Why not? Having a mate is amazing” right as she says this someone rings the door bell.

“Hold that thought you can explain that to me later….kay” she says going to answer the door. As soon as she opens the door the most amazing smell hits me. I know ive smelt it before but i cants remember where….it smells like fire and rain which is stange. I turn around to see who is at the door and see jack and his group of friend and two adults that i assume is his parents. I sit there in a daze not knowing what to do.

They walk in and the women says something to me but im still so dazed byt the smeel that i didnt hear what she said. Beth smacks my arm snapping me out of my daze.

“Hey what was that for beth?” i ask rubbing my arm.

“This is rose, jacks mom she said something toyou when she walked in” beth says.

“Oh...im sorry what did you say?” i ask looking at rose felling bad for how i acted.

“Oh its alright dear…. I said happy birthday and that you look fantastic today” she says smiling.

“Oh thank you very much” i say standing up.

‘Pheonix what is that smell?’ i ask

‘That my dear is our mate is some where here but i cant tell where yet. We will know for sure once we shift tonight….now enjoy your self’ she says happily.

She knows who he is but wont tell me. I wonder why….i guess i will findout later tonight which one of these boys is my mate.
