Andrews point of view
I followed her out the door and she turned down an ally. The man Who sat beside her kept his distance but followed not far behind. She stopped abruptly and I ran into her. I hadn’t realized I was that close to her, my hands met her shoulders and it was like an electric shock. Who was this woman and why did she have such an affect on me?
Did she feel it too? Like lightning the man from the diner was by her side again. How could he have moved so quickly and why did he act like I was a danger to her? She’s the one who suddenly stopped in front of me and caused the accidental touch. Although I wasn’t sorry for her actions. I wanted to touch her since our eyes met in the diner.
The man stood in front of her she looked up at him and it was like they had a conversation with their eyes. She slowly turned to me and bowed her head slightly. Her eyes were fixed on the ground, for some reason my heart ached at her action. I longed to see her eyes I wanted to hear her voice again. She finally did speak, still not looking at me. “Are you going to reject me?”
“Reject you?” What in the world was this girl talking about? She finally looked up at me with confusion in her eyes. “Aren’t you a rogue? Was I mistaken with your scent? Do you actually belong to a pack?” This girl was beautiful but she was absolutely out of her mind. It was my turn to look at her confused. “What on earth are you talking about?” My inner dialogue cut my thoughts short before I could say another word out loud. “Shut up and hear her out.”
She had this dumbfounded look on her face, it was kinda cute the way her eyebrows furrowed. I wanted to reach out and touch her cheek, would that electricity still be there? Her voice now entered my thoughts but her lips did not move. My eyes widened and it appeared that my actions shocked her as well. “Can you hear me? Well that confirms you are indeed a wolf”
