***Ivy’s POV*** When I got out of the hospital, I was told to take it easy for two days, then I could get back into training. I was not happy about only being able to train my powers once a week, but my dad had a good point. Tobias and I trained with my father on Saturdays and then we trained with the rest of the pack during the week. I was getting annoyed with both dad and Tobias for not letting me train my powers more, but then my dad said that until I got used to using my powers it would drain me faster. So I reluctantly stopped asking. It has been two weeks since I started my training with Tobias. I was getting better at using my powers and so was he. I didn’t have to think so hard about which element to use, I could now just summon which element I needed, and it would just come to me. Tobias was getting better at catching my light and using it to attack. I loved training with Tobias, we were getting better at fighting together. Today was no different. We were on the training grounds practicing when dad walked over to us. “Okey, I think you should spar using your powers. Tobias will be able to tap into your energy and be able to connect to your magic. Let’s start with the elements.” Dad stepped off the training ground, I looked at Tobias and got into a defensive position like he had thought of me. I smiled at him. “Come at me.” Tobias swings around to create a strong gust of wind and pushes it towards me. I move to the side just in time before it can lift me up into the air. I stomp my foot on the ground creating a small tremor. Tobias lost his balance slightly, and I chuckled. I lifted up a chunk of earth and threw it at him, knocking him on his arse. I walked over to him and held out my hand to help him up. He looked up at me and I gave him an innocent smile. He grumbles and takes hold of my hand. I gave him a kiss on his check and walked back over to my spot. For the next 15 minutes, we were caught in a fierce battle of earth and air before Tobias changed to a water attack. He froze some ice into a chain, and whips it towards me. It catches my wrist and wraps around me, trapping me in place. Using my fire element, I light a flame in the palm of my hand and melt the ice chain. I start throwing the fireballs at him, which he defuses easily. He moves his hand upwards and makes a massive wave and pushes it towards me. I fuel the fire in my hands and push it towards the wave, making a hole big enough to fit through. I focus the flames in my palms making them become flashes of light. I center myself and emit a wave of light towards him and he does the same. The lights collide with each other, they explode, knocking both of us back. I hit the ground hard and the breath gets knocked out of me. I lay there trying to get my breathing back to normal when I see Tobias standing over me. I smile up at him, and he holds out his hand. “That was some nice training, your powers have definitely gotten stronger.” Dad walked over to us putting his hands on our shoulders. “That was some nice control, but next time maybe don’t go so hard with the lightening.” He said, looking over to his right. I followed his gaze and placed my hand over my mouth trying to hold back the laugh that was trying to escape. There was a giant hole in the middle of the training center. Carter and Charlie were on the floor with their hands over their heads screaming. “Sorry boys, that was my bad.” I let my hand drop from my mouth thinking I had my laughter under control when Charlie lifted up his head and looks opened mouthed at me and I lost all control. “Sh*t Ivy, you almost killed us.” Charlie called back. “I think it’s time for a break.” Tobias chuckled beside me and we walked back to the Packhouse with dad. The next couple of weeks went by without incident. Tobias had to go into the office to see how the security systems were coming along. I looked over at him and made a pouty face. “Does that mean you will be missing out on training today?” “Yes love, you will be fine. Charlie will be with you. I have to bring Carter with me as he needs to see hoe the systems work as well.” He walked over and kissed the top of my head. I grabbed a hold of his face and pushed his lips onto mine. He groaned into the kiss and then pulled away. “Love, I hate to do this, but I really have to go. Maybe when I get back from the office we could go for a run?” He asked and I nodded my head and let him go. I got changed into my training gear and said goodbye to him, I walked out of our room and headed downstairs. Everyone was waiting out the front of the Packhouse to start the run. I saw Charlie standing to the side and walked up behind him and jumped on his back, making him jump four feet into the air. “Oh Goddess, Luna you scared the sh*t out of me.” He said, holding onto my legs, I chuckled at him and gave him a hug from behind. Charlie and I have gotten really close since the night I healed Carter. He came to me asking for some advice to help Carter get through what happened with Brody and since then, we go to each other if we need help with something. “So, I see Carter got out of this training as well.” I huffed and hopped off his back. “Yup." He said popping the P at the end. "But I got him back for it.” He said and winked at me. I laughed at him. Ethan step to the front of the group, we all shifted and followed after him. Ciara loved this run in the morning. She was so excited because she got too run with Joe Charlie’s wolf. They were best friends and I loved it.
