Third POV As tears welled in Keiera's eyes, she couldn't bear to face the humiliation any longer. With a choked sob, she turned and fled from the dining room, her footsteps echoing down the corridor as she sought refuge in the sanctuary of her room. Alone in the dimly lit chamber, Keiera collapsed onto her bed, her body wracked with sobs of despair. How had everything spiraled out of control so quickly?
