~Elena~
The week last week of summer went flying out the window. I spent my last few days with the guys and with my new two girlfriends. I’m happy to say that in the short time we have spent together, we managed to create a tight bond.
My alarm starts buzzing at 6:30 a.m. I turn around and turned it off. Walking to my bathroom, I turned on the light and look at myself in the mirror. I look better. I remember when I arrived here a week ago, my big dark brown eyes were dull, now they have the spark they have always had, there is no longer bags under my eyes, and my smile looks happy, and not fake.
“Chop chop, chocolate chip, Mike cooked you some breakfast!” Zack knocked on the door and I smiled, as I finish getting ready. I grab my backpack and jog down the stairs and into the kitchen.
“Good morning, everyone!” I chirped at them.
“Here you go” Mike said as he placed a plate of food in front of me, my tongue darted out and licked my lips. I’m so hungry.
“You got everything?” Ale asked as he looked up from his phone.
“Yes” I replied cutting a piece of my eggs.
“Don’t forget you house key” Carlos said as he tossed me my keys, and I catch them in a swift movement. “What the hell are you wearing?” Carlos asked with a repulsed look on his face. Curious, look down on my clothes, wondering what was wrong with them.
“What’s wrong?” I asked with a shrug. I’m wearing a lilac crop top, some ripped jean, my Air Force’s 1, and my long dark brown curls are in a high ponytail.
“You can’t go dressed like that!” Carlos exclaimed, but I rolled my eyes at him. “Zack, help me out!” I whined at him, because I know that I can’t win a battle with one of the guys all alone.
“She looks fine, besides everyone knows not to touch her” Zack said with a shrug, but I just narrow my eyes at him. He smiled sweetly at me, and I rolled my eyes.
Unbelievable.

After breakfast the boys, they each left for their morning classes, and I did the same. My phone starts buzzing, I take it out from my back pocket and look at the caller ID, I groan as I see his name.
The dude can’t take a hint.
Noah has been calling and texting me nonstop. I thought that after Ale told him to leave that they in my parents’ house, he wouldn’t contact me again, boy was I wrong. I answered one of his calls on time, and told him to stop calling me, but that didn’t stop him, it only made him do it more. I let the call ring, until it stops, and I can finally feel myself breath again. I need to block his number.
“Why are you staring at the black screen of your phone?” A husky masculine voice asked from behind me. I let out a yelp and jump a little. I quickly turn around and my face changes from scared to disgust really quick.
I scoff at him, and his green eyes that have a shine in them.
“Wait up!” Damion said, once he saw me turning around and resumed my walk to my first period. “What’s the hurry?” He asked as he drops his arm around my shoulders’ and pulled me in closer to him. I grab his hand and bat it away from me.
“Don’t touch me” I exclaimed narrowing my eyes at him.
“Feisty as ever my little brownie” he said with a wink, and I rolled my eyes.
“Are you looking for another slap Pierce, because I would gladly deliver you one” I said
“Not really, I think I still got the fingerprints of the last one” Damion exclaimed running a hand on his left cheek. I laughed a little and his eyes beamed with something. “I made you laugh” he whispers astonished at his achievement.
“I need to get going” I said in a small voice and started walking once again to my class. Luckily, he didn’t follow his time, he just stood there looking at me.

I made it just in time to my first period, AP Math. I sit at the far away row and take out my notebook, just in case. The professor is yet to arrive, so I pull out my phone and text the boys that I made it to my first class. They all respond quickly wishing me a good first day. I look up from my phone when I hear someone taking the seat next to mine. I look to my left and my eyes widen.
Great, just what I needed. Another devil.
“Hey Lena” Jackson smiled at me as he ran a hand through his pink hair.
“Don’t call me that, only my friends can call me that”
“But I thought we were friends!” He whined and his eyes blue-green eyes looked like they were going to cry. His pale white skin, shine under the classrooms light. I remember Jackson being on the shorten side of the three Devils with a height of 5’10, still tall if you ask me. But that is what makes him a great point guard, he is fast on his feet.
“No, we aren’t” I said crossing my arms around my chest. “And if this is a sick game of Damion to keep tabs on me, it’s not funny”
“What are you talking about? I take this class” Jackson said with a confused face.
“Oh.” Is the only thing that my mind thought off, as a replay.
We didn’t talk for the rest of the class. I felt a little awkward after accusing him of doing Damion’s dirty work and keeping an eye on me. Because who am I kidding, the guy is probably not even thinking about me. Besides I need to make some space between the two of us. He is a constant reminder of Noah, even though the two of them are nothing alike.
I just need a breather.
The professor dismisses us, and before I can sprint off to my next class, and leave all of this awkward tension, between the two of us, Jackson holds onto my arm.
“Before you go” He started, dropping his hand from my arm. “There is going to be a party, this Friday. You should come” Jackson said with a sweet smile.
“I don’t know” I trailed off, looking anywhere but his eyes, Jackson always gave me vibes of being the nicest one out of the three.
“Look just because your boyfriend and my best friend, have some bad blood, it doesn’t mean we can’t get along” Jackson replied, looking intensely at me eyes. “Just think about it and invite anyone you want. I will text you the address” he said as he started walking away
“You don’t even have my number!” I replied, but he just shrug
“I have my way” he exclaimed back, and I laughed a little at his goofiness, he reminds me a little of Zack.
Maybe I was wrong about them all along…

The rest of the day went as smooth as possible. I had lunch with the girls, and they asked me how was going my first they in this university, and I told them I was doing just fine. I also told them I was grateful that I didn’t get lost on the way to any of my classes, and they laughed at me, and I joined them.
“Elena wait up!” I hear a voice call out to me, and I turn around to see Rome jogging my way. I mentally groan. I had been thankful that I didn’t bump into any more Devils for the rest of the day. But Rome just had to ruin that score.
“I was wondering when you were going to show up. Because last time I checked there were three Devils, not two” I say as I turn around, and Rome catches up to me, laughing.
“Well, I can assure you, now you are in the presence of the most handsome out of the three devils” Rome said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes, but looked at him from head to toe, he is wearing a band loose t-shirt, ripped jeans, and white Converses.
“Maybe” I said with a shrug, and he laughed again. “Where is the head devil?” I asked and Rome laughed even harder.
“Damn, girl! I knew you were something else” He exclaimed between laughs. I laughed a little at his reaction and stopped walking, so he could get some air in his lungs. “I feel like we are going to get along just fine”
“Why do you guys want to get along with me so much? I’m literally nothing special, besides you guys are supposed to hate me because I’m with your enemy.” I finish as I narrow my eyes, looking at Rome.
“Look Elena, our beef is with your little boyfriend, not with you, so we can’t hate you for choosing and falling in love with him. Besides we have liked you since, the day you slapped Damion” Rome said looking straight into my eyes.
“Fair enough”
“So will you come to the party on Friday night?” Rome asked and I playfully rolled my eyes.
“Fine” I said, and Rome smiled
“I will see you there, then”
