Chapter 4

784 Words
~Damion~ I walk back to the house I’m sharing with my two best friends with a smile plastered on my face, thinking about that little Brownie. I still can’t believe that she is transferring here, to the university I’m attending. I walk into the kitchen once I hear the clatter of dishes and frying pans. They must be up then. I lean against the frame of the entrance of the kitchen with a smile on my face, as the events from a couple of minutes ago came crashing down on me once again. “What the hell got you smiling like an i***t?” Jackson asked me as he puts his phone down. His blue-green eyes scanning me up and down, his baby pink dyed hair moving to the side when he tilted his head, it is wet, he most has come out of the shower. Rome turns around once he was done making all of that noise and turning on the oven. “Well start talking, I want to know too” Rome said running a hand across his slick back chestnut hair, he leans forward against the counter, and his amber eyes look deeply at me. “Remember my little Brownie?” I asked, but they just looked at me with a blank face. “Dumbasses, Noah’s little girlfriend” I said with an eyeroll, and they both smiled and nodded their head. “The girl you like to mess around with, so that you can get inside Noah’s head” Jackson said. “What’s up with her?” “She is transferring to this university” I said with a smirk, I run my index finger on my bottom lip, thinking of all the ways I can get under her skin, her tanned skin… “And how do you know that?” Rome asked, turning around to make sure his eggs are not getting burned. “Don’t tell me you stalked her!” Rome exclaimed and I heard Jackson stifle in a laugh. I roll my eyes at Rome and then glare at Jackson. “I don’t chase” I said folding my arms around my chest. “She was leaning out of a window, screaming like a damn psychopath at the Knights house” I said as I lifted my body from the frame and walked to the kitchen table, and flopping down on one of the 5 chairs. “I’m sure something happened between the two of them” “How come?” “She was yelling out, that someone was a piece of s**t, and that he and her so-called best friend deserved each other, and that she hoped that they both rote in hell” I finished, and I saw Jackson physically gulp down, while Rome had an amused look on his face. “That girl has some serious anger issues” Jackson said with as he rubbed his temple. “Who goes screaming like that, outside their window?” “She does apparently,” Rome said with a shrug. “I have always loved that attitude of hers, actually” I said with a smile. “Of course, you do! You are a weirdo!” Jackson exclaimed and I rolled my eyes. “Well, this is your chance to do your thing” Rome said, as he moved his eggs onto a plate. “Chance for what?” I asked, looking at Rome who was now settling down in front of me at the dinner table. “To make her fall in love with you and keep her all to yourself” Rome said, not meeting my eyes, as he pours salt on his eggs. “I’m not making her fall in love with me!” I exclaimed, but he just laughed a little, and raised his eyebrows amused. Asshole. “Aha” Jackson said with an eyeroll. “We know you have liked that girl, since the moment she slapped you” I laugh a little at the memory, that girl is something else. “And let’s face it, you didn’t make a move on her, because you have morals, and are not a homewrecker” Jackson finished, and I nod my head. “Okay, first I don’t like her, I like getting under her skin” I said, eyeing my two best friends. “Second, I’m not making her fall in love with me, I’m going to make her hate me” I snarled out, but my two so-called best friends only looked at me amused. “I’m done talking to you two” I said getting up from the chair, and going up to my room, for a shower. I don’t like her.
