12 Jake walked into the business meeting the next morning with a grin. He’d caught Alyssa outside early, very early, and shared a few kisses that made him feel like he could do anything. He knew it was only going to mean trouble for him, but the way she responded to him made him think his chances of convincing her to stay were better than he’d hoped for.
