CHAPTER THIRTY SIX

Days had passed, Ella and Elena, busied themselves for reviewing for the upcoming quiz bee.

Its was late afternoon and was starting to get dark, Elena decided to stay at the school library and just left when the librarian announced that the library is closing.

On her way to the parking where she told Ian to wait for her, she saw Ella with three more other students seems like bullying Ella that made her halt.

She saw the other girl who seemed the leader of the group, taking Ella’s book and tear it infront of her while Ella left struggling from the other two, while seeing her book being teared into pieces.

“No, stop please!” she heard Ella plead.

Wanting to helped Ella, she took her phone and dialed Ian’s number that he immediately pick up.

“Ian help.” She said as Ian took her call.

“Where are you?” Ian responded.

“Library building, first floor hallway.” She replied.

Ian ended the call after she told her location, and in just 3 minutes, Ian arrived.

Ian forehead knotted, when he saw Elena unharmed but, he can see worriedness in her face, and when Elena turn her gaze into the other side he already knew why.

“Can you help her? She is my classmate.” Elena said.

“Okay, just stay here.” Ian said.

Ian took the path towards the group of students who was having fun tearing papers infront of a struggling student.

“What are you guys doing?” Ian said as he stopped a few steps from the students.

The students throw a glance at Ian, and went back to what they were doing like nothing happened.

“Go, Mr. Handsome you should be here meddling in our business.” The leader said, and turn her gaze again to Ian.

“Stop, that or I will report you to your teacher for destroying your schoolmate’s thing.” Ian warned but the leader just laugh at him.

Elena didn’t able to bare the bullies and went to them, with a nervous feeling she force her confidence and warned the bullies.

“Stop that if you don’t want to be kicked out from bullying,” Elena warned, “I think you know who I am right?”

Elena doesn’t really want to use her grandpa’s position, but for now her mind is blank and the only thing she can’t think now is to stop the bullies for bullying her classmates for she know better how to be bullied.

The leader lips rose as she throw a daggering stare at Elena, before signaling the other to let go Ella, and before they left, the leader throw the pieces of paper she teared Ella.

Elena rushed to Ella who is starting to pick the pieces of the paper.

“Are you okay?” she asked.

Ella acted like she didn’t hear Elena and continue to pick the papers in a hurry.

Elena took the cover and saw that it was Ella’s research paper cover. She startled when Ella harshly took it from her hands and left.

“It was her research paper.” Elena informed Ian who was standing behind her.

“I also saw it.” Ian replied.

Elena followed Ella with her gaze, and didn’t say anything. She just left the hallway while Ian followed her until they arrive at the parking.

They arrive at the penthouse, but Elena is still silent, he don’t know what thoughts of Elena is having right now but he can see sadness at the same time anger in Elena’s eyes.

That night, Elena thoughts was filled with questions on why those students took Ella’s thing and ripped it.

For all the time she thought that no body would be able to do that infront if Ella, for she met her with a strong personality.

On the other hand, Ella keep on cursing the group who ripped her papers and to Elena for meddling in her business.

The group a while ago famous bullies of their school, whom she accidentally poured her juice a while ago when the other girl from that group made her tripped unexpectedly.

She doesn’t know why those is picking up with her now, but she know for sure that is was all about her ranking.

At their school, being the top 1 is like a king, which is her previous ranking, and now that she had been removed for second time, they were moving.

She doesn’t know who made a such a rotten system of superiority but, she will make sure to turn it around, and she will also make sure to beat Elena and be in rank 1 again.

A loud thud of an envelope containing the evidence of Raffy being alive was place in Mr. Vaughn’s office table.

The pictures was just sent to him a while ago from his private investigator.

He had been searching Raffy, and now they found him, the CCTV photo was caught Raffy taking a unconscious girl outside the apartment that he recognize as Dana, Raffy’s daughter.

Dana had contacted him two weeks ago and told him that she was the one who told Raffy about where they were hiding. The lad told her reason why she did that.

From what he heard to Dana, she was overpower by wanting to saved her mother which is half acceptable but it wasn’t change the fact that put someone’s life endangered.

But when he saw that the lad is truly repenting, he accepted it but he didn’t forgive her yet.

And now seeing Raffy taking his daughter, made him think that he will might going to use Dana, but how? He didn’t know yet.

Mr. Vaughn immediately called the three guards that guarding Ms. Estrella, Dr. Monte and Elena, that the three guards immediately heed.

“Here!” Mr. Vaughn started laying the photos of Raffy in front of the guards.

“I want you to be more on guard to whom you are guarding, for as you can see, Raffy is alive and he might attack them all of sudden.” He stated.

“Sir, the girl at the photo.” Ian said and he recognize the girl that Raffy is carrying.

“It was his daughter, and she was the one with you when you were hiding at the rest house.” Mr. Vaughn confirming.

“But that isn’t important, what’s more important right now is for you to be always on guard for the possibilities.” He stated.

“You will never know when that bastard might attack, as long as we haven’t capture him, Ms. Estrella, Dr. Monte and Elena specially is still in danger.” He reminded.

After the meeting, he sent the guards back to their post, and called his private investigator again to help him locating where Raffy is now hiding.
