CHAPTER NINETEEN

Days had passed since Lena came out and Elena find out her past through Lena’s story. Elena was now on her way to her way to where her parents buried.

As she arrived at the location, that Lena told on the video she took. Elena felt her knees wobble as she arrive infront of her parents tomb. Lena told her that she was the one is taking care of her parents tomb, and what she said is true, for the tombs are well kept and clean.

Lena told her that she herself is the one who buried her parents, with the help of their house helper who was the only one remain alive when Raffy barge in their house, but eventually killed after Raffy took her in force to gave to the foster parents who abused her.

Her foster parents, often put her into a sack of rice and beat her up whenever she would do a single mistake, sometimes she will be tied in the tree in the middle of the heavy rain as a punishment as well.

Lena, told her that it was all ordered by Raffy, to torture her for not telling where is the necklace that her mother gave to her as a gift on her birthday. But, she still refused to tell Raffy where she kept the necklace, that made her keep being beaten and sometimes even molested by his foster father, that leads Lena to come out, as she didn’t able to contain all the tortures she had, and  Lena killed her foster parents by burning the house while their were drift off in an deep sleep.

“H-Hi Mom, h-hi Dad!” Elena greeted as she went closer to the tombs.

The tombs are in a form of a small hill like with a names that has been carve in a thick wood, and painted with a black paint as a highllight for the names and a varnish for the wood.

“Sander and Selena Mirabello.” Elena whispered as she read to the names on the wood.

A tear escape on her eyes and soon became wept, her heart is so heavy that feels like something hard and big is inside of it, her heart is aching as she continuously wept.

And as she recall the dream where she saw them, made her wept more as a longing  took over her system.

“Mom, Dad.” she said, while caressing the tomb, “I’m here, sorry for coming here so late, sorry for forgetting you.”

Elena spend a whole day on her parents tomb, she wants to spend time with them telling them stories on how her Mommy Dan and Daddy Alfred took care of her, how did they met and how they died, and leaving her inheritance which is her current house and car. She even told them about her Aunt Elle who is now like a parent to her, who is loving, worrying, and taking care of her.

Elena spend the whole day telling her parents that she is well and don’t worry about her, and she misses them so much even though their faces are blurred on her dreams, But because of Lena’s story she was able to confirm that her dream about them is really happened.

“I miss you so much, Mom, Dad. I promise I’ll be back and tell you more stories.” She said as stands from seating beside the tomb.

Elena felt the with embraced her that made her smile as she stared at the sunset that she can see from the valley that her parents tomb were located and turn her gaze to her parents tomb.

“I love you too Mom, Dad.” she said and again the wind blew on her.

Elena was on her way home, she felt delighted and calm after spending the whole day with her parents, and all thanks to Lena, for if isn’t for her she would still be clueless and confused about what is happening around her and to her. She might still be now seeking an answer.

“Thank you Lena, very much! “Lena said on her mind for she know that Lena can hear her.

As Elena drive home, her phone rang, and saw that it was a unknown number, her brows knotted in curiosity as her phone continuously rang.

“Hello?” she answered after maneuvering her car on the side of the road to answer the call.

Her brows knotted when no one spoke, but she can hear a sound of a breath from the other line.

“Hello? I know your there.” she said again, hoping the person on the other line would speak up.But the person on the other line stayed silent, and decided to just end the call.

“I will hang up now.” she informed.

And just about she is going to drop the call a girl’s voice suddenly spoke up from the other line, making halt from pressing the end button.

“W-Wait.” The girl spoke up.

With a brows knotted Elena asked, “who are you?”

“Its me Dana, we met when my father abducted you.” The girl said, making Elena brows more knotted.

“M-Met you?” Elena replied, with her brows still knotted.

“Y-Yes, don’t you remember?” the girl named Dana asked.

“Y-Yeah, I remember.” she said, for she sure that it is Lena that this girl met.

“Can we meet tonight at the Benz?” Dana asked pertaining to the bar that has been closed down after being burned and recently opened after being rebuild.

“W-Why?” she asked.

“I want to tell you something about my father.” Dana replied

“Then why would I meet you, if your father was the one who abduct me.” she said with the hint of suspicious in her voice.

“I’m sorry miss, but I-I wouldn’t want meet you.” she said apologizing.

“P-Please d-don’t hang up,” Dana stopped her when she was about to hang up, “just hear me out even just in this c-call.”

 Elena don’t have a choice but to heave a sigh, as Dana plead to her to listen. She thought that what Dana might wanted to say is this important for her to plead, and thinking about how distressful Dana’s voice made her feel guilty to decline.

“Okay, let’s just meet, I’m on my way.” Elena said afterwards and hang up after Dana said her thanks to her.

Elena arrived infront of the bar exactly 6pm. She spotted the girl on the parking lot like what Dana told the description of herself at the parking lot like she instructed where to meet while she was on her way. Elena’s brows knotted as she saw Dana in near sight for she is somewhat familiar to her. She decided to park her car just beside where Dana’s car is.

“Dana Vargas?” Elena asked trying to confirm if the girl she is approaching is the right person.

“Elena.” The girl answered confirming that she is Dana.

Elena stared at Dana and saw the distressed on Dana’s face, and from that Elena thought that her decision to meet the woman is right.

“A-Are you okay?” she asked to Dana after coming out of her car, and so as Dana.

Dana just shake her head, and took Elena’s arms and pulled her  towards on the corner part of the parking lot where it is secluded area, that made Elena confused, as Dana rushed there.

“H-Hey, w-what are you d-doing?” Elena asked while being pulled, “what’s wrong?”

But Dana didn’t answer and just continue on pulling her until they arrive at the secluded area of the parking lot. And as Dana face her, she stilled as Dana’s eyes were pooled of tears.

“W-W-Why are yo—, ah, no no no, what’s wrong?” She asked confusingly to Dana.

“Elena, I-I’m s-sorry.” Dana apologized in the middle of her sobs that made Elena, brows knotted.

“W-Wha—” Elena was cut, when she felt a sudden pain on her arm.

With a with eye Elena stared at Dana who is currently holding a knife on her hand, while still crying.

“I-I’m sorry Elena, I don’t want to harm you but this is the only way for me to save my Mom from that beast.” Dana stated while pointing the knife on her with her trembling hands.

“W-W-What are y-you?” She asked in shock and surprise, as she hold the part that has been wounded.

“I’m really sorry Elena, my f-father s-sent me, h-he said that i-if I would kill you he will not kill my mom Elena,’ Dana explained in between her sob, “he has my m-mom Elena!”

Elena stilled as she heard Dana’s explanation, and she can see that Dana is telling the truth, her eyes and movement say so.

“Ack!” she whimpered in as she felt her wound is bleeding heavily, for the cut is too deep.

“E-Elena!” Dana called in shock and worry as she saw how her arm is bleeding heavily.

Elena attention was caught when she felt her hand that she use to hold her wounded arm are getting wetter by blood. She stilled as she saw the plenty of blood on her hand.

And in a wide eye she stared at Dana, but her thoughts are on the blurred scenes where she can only saw flood of blood in her memory.

Elena began to tremble as she can only saw was blood, then dead bodies come after that made her hold her head, as she felt her sight is spinning that made her groan, as her teeth clench.

Dana flinch as she heard Elena groan, while  she was holding her head as her teeth clench tightly.

“E-Elena?” she called to Elena.

Elena seems deaf to her call as she just continue to groan as if she is hurting, with a trembling hands, Dana threw her knife and approach Elena slowly, but she halted when Elena shouted.

Worry engulf Dana’s system while she whispered sorry simultaneously as her tear flowed freely. She didn’t mean this to happen, she had no choice, but now seeing Elena like this made her regret. But how about Mom? She thought as she stared at Elena who is still groaning while her hands are on her head.

“No please Lena, don’t!” Elena suddenly said in pain.

Her head is throbbing in pain, and Lena wants to come out, but she cant allow it, for she knows Lena will only harm Dana.

“Dana, leave Dana please!” Elena shouted while pleading that made Dana bulge as she saw how Elena is having a hard time in pain while she keep on mumbling of please don’t, please.

“Let me out Elena!” Elena heard Lena said on her mind.

“No, you can’t please not now, I’m begging you!” Elena said pleading in pain.

But, Lena wont bulge as keep trying to eat Elena’s system with hers. Elena stared at Dana who was stilled as she watch her.

“Please Dana, l-leave. I don’t think I can hold her any l-longer, leave!” Elena said in gritted teeth as she felt her sight is getting blurry.

Her shout made Dana flinch again and this time she run, leaving Elena getting unconscious, as Elena still trying to fight Lena not to come out making her nose bleed.

Dana was about to hail on her car, when hand stop her. She stilled with wide eye when she saw that is was Elena, or that’s what she thought.

For the Elena infront of her shouts danger as she throw a cold dagger look on her making her system tremble in fear.

“Where do you think you are going, huh?” Lena said smirking to Dana mischievously.

“Running away, after hurting me?” Lena said while stepping closer to Dana.

“I-I-I have no c-choice E-Elena, my father has my m-mom!” Dana explained in desperation as Lena point the knife she use to hurt Elena a while is now pointing to her.

Lena’s lips twitch in smirk as she saw the desperation on Dana’s face. Lena doesn’t have a plan to hurt Dana, but she must kill someone in order to quench the thirst in her system.

Clenching her fist Lena, stared at Dana coldly, and was about to say a word when Dana suddenly collapse infront of her, and the next thing she saw was a man holding a gun with silencer hiding 2 cars away from them.

Lena smirk as she smell the blood of her prey, but she checked Dana first and saw the bullet was in Dana’s shoulder.

“Bastard!” Lena said, as she moved quietly closer to the gun man.

The gun man saw Lena and shoot her, but Lena was able to hide.

“i***t!” Lena said as she saw the man through the rear mirror approaching where she is slowly.

Lena waited the man to get more closer, and when she got the perfect timing she grab the silencer on the gun’s mouth and throw the knife she’s holding to the man that hit stomach, earning the groan of pain from him, as the man let go of the gun, Lena didn’t waste any time and shot the man’s body until the bullets on the gun is empty.

Lena smirk as she stared at her bloody masterpiece, and roam her eyes to check if there is CCTV or someone saw them, but she saw none making her smirk more.

“Tsk! Such a dirty bastard.” Lena uttered pertaining to Raffy.

Lena approach the man’s pocket and as she saw the lighter she smirk.

“Sorry bar owner, but it seems like a your parking will be the one to be on fire tonight.” Lena said as she started to lit the lighter that she is holding.

“I promise to pay you when the time right.” Lena uttered pertaining to the bar owner before throwing the lighter to the man’s body that making the man’s body being eaten by the fire slowly.

After a while Lena left with Dana, who is now lying unconscious in the backseat. Lena tongue clap as she stared at Dana.

“What a misfortune you have to encounter a demon as a father, that is willing to sacrifice his daugter's life because  of his greed.” Lena uttered.
