CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT

Ella stopped the leader’s hand before it land again on Elena’s face, “Lana, stop this.”

Elena heard Ella said with a pleading voice, but the leader named Lana just laugh, and signed something to the two girls who was struggling her, and in a second, Elena shouted in pain as the other girl grasp her hair hard.

“You mean that?” Lana said pertaining to what their doing to Elena.

“And this.” Lana said again.

A hard slapped echoed again but this time it is for Ella, Lana also took Ella’s hair that made Ella also grunt in pain.

“This is what the people who keep meddling with our business deserve!” Lana spat.

Elena, was in horror as she watch how Lana slapped Ella in her face, and the pain that is plastered on her face made something triggered in her mind for starting to see some picture of a child being also beaten while pleading, that made her felt a sharp pain in her head.

But the next thing had made it worse, Elena wasn’t able to think again when she saw how Lana slapped Ella again that made Ella’s lips to bleed.

Elena, didn’t even able to notice that her hair was still in the other girls grasp, for the unbearable pain is starting to pierce in her head, that made her grunt in so much pain.

Lana stopped when she heard Elena, grunting and almost shouting in pain. Confused she look at the girl who was holding Elena’s hair and asked her what is happening, but the girl just shrug her shoulders.

Ella took the chance to be off on Lana’s grasped and hurriedly went to Elena who was now shouting in pain.

“What did you do to her?!” she angrily asked to the girls that was holding Elena a while ago, but before the girls answered Elena shouted.

“Go away, now!” Elena ordered to the girls.

“Argh!”

“Now! Please go!” Elena ordered but this time with plead.

For she started to Lena taking her consciousness but she is trying hard not to let Lena, for she know that once Lena come out, this girls will be endanger.

Ella and the girls gasp in horror when they saw the blood coming out from Elena. Lana and her friends began to leave, leaving Ella panicking.

That’s where Ian arrived, and immediately took a syringe and inject it to Elena. After that Elena lost consciousness.

“W-What happened?” Ella asked with her eyes balled out as she watch how Elena’s bodyguard inject something to Elena.

Ian didn’t answer and the next thing they hear was a panicky voice of an old woman from somewhere.

“What happened to Elena Ian?” Ms. Estrella asked as soon as she got closer to where Elena is.

She gasped in horror and worry when she saw the blood that continuously streaming on Elena’s nose.

“Why is her nose bleeding?!” Ms. Estrella asked again panicking by the blood.

“She was having a episode.” Ian answered.

Ella didn’t know what to do and just remain standing at the side while watching and listening to the people who just came.

“I think she fought really hard that’s why she end up getting her nose ble--” She heard the bodyguard said, and was cut when he saw her.

Ian signaled his other co-guards to take Elena and Ms. Estrella for he needs to talk to Elena’s classmate about what happened.

As they left, he first made a call to Mr. Vaughn and to Dr. Monte to report what happened to Elena and informed them that Elena was on her way to the hospital with Ms. Estrella while he will going to investigate what happened.

Ian took Ella to the school infirmary to tend the scratches and swelling from the slap that she get from the girls.

“I will be straight to you. What happened back there, and what are you doing in that kind of place?” Ian asked.

Ella told Elena’s bodyguard from the beginning of Elena following her from the time that they met Lana’s group what happened to Elena all of a sudden.

“Thank you.” Ian said after Ella told him everything and left.

Mr. Vaughn was furious when Ian told him what he found out what happened to Elena.

“How’s Elena now?” Mr. Vaughn asked after calming down a bit.

“She is still currently resting while Ms. Estrella is staying with her.” Ian reported.

Mr. Vaughn nod, that’s where his assistant came in, “Sir, here are the names that had been with young Miss a while ago.” The assistant said while handling Mr. Vaughn the folder.

Mr. Vaughn just throw a quick glimpse in the folder and gave it back to his assistant, “ Tell the school board that we will having a meeting regarding to this three lads expulsion.”

The assistant just nod and left, leaving Ian alone again with Mr. Vaughn.

“I told you to guard Elena properly and closely right?” Mr. Vaughn asked.

“But, my granddaughter had being victim with the bullies and yet you were currently on your guard that time.” Mr. Vaughn stated.

Ian remain standing while listening to what is Mr. Vaughn saying.

“I place you to guard Elena because I trust you that you will protect her because you two became good friends.” He continued, “and honestly I am disappointed about what happened.”

“I apologize sir, I had put my guard down that cause trouble to the Young Miss.” Ian apologize.

“Please Ian, I already considered you as my son, please don’t disappoint me agaiin.” Mr. Vaughn plead.

After the conversation of him and  Mr. Vaughn. Ian came to Dr. Monte’s clinic where Ms. Estrella took Elena. Ian saw Ms. Estrella sleeping in sitting position while the half of her body was on the bed beside Elena.

“Mr. Vaughn had called me and I already told him about Elena’s state, and as for you. I thank you for acting fast to administer the medicine to Elena that helped her to stopped her episode.” Dr. Monte said commending Ian.

They where having their conversation when Ms. Estrella appeared all of a sudden.

“Elena is awake!” she informed that made the two men stoop up in an instant.

As they went to the room that Elena is occupying, they saw Elena’s eyes opened, and when Elena turned to them, they let a relieve breath come out after seeing that it is still Elena’s personality they can see and not Lena who were cold. What they are seeing now is the gentle eyes that Elena has.
