GRADUATION DAY- 1
It was around 7 am and foggy morning in the cemetery as the winter was in its initial phase. There was some sound; someone was crying, and that someone was Jess's. Early this morning, Jess woke up to the sound of the alarm. It was a happy day, but that emptiness in Jess's heart was making it gloomy resulted because of the thought of her mother. Like every morning, the first thing that Jess used to think about was her mother and today her departure felt more strongly. After getting ready, she straight went to the cemetery to greet her mother. She was sitting there, crying, "Mummy, I miss u. I miss you so much. I can't express it. It's hard to not have you around; I want you to be here just like before. I want you to select my dress, to make me the best breakfast, to be with me always. I don't want you to be like this anymore. Please come back Mummy, please. "I don't know about dad, but Sam and I are always missing you". Sam, the the the a 16 years old boy, was Jessica's only brother. He might be 16 by age but was a much more sensible man than Jessica.
"Mummy I don't think dad loves me. He is always ordering and restricting me. I am so pissed. From the time you are gone, all he cares about is work. He doesn't pay any attention to us. And he thinks that it's me who is at mistake. huh... I don't know what to do. Sam is becoming the same, always trying to advise me and acting like my elder brother. Like seriously, I am done."
"Mummy, I miss u and Today, I am missing you even more. We will meet soon, in Heavens. Please be happy there. And keep laughing the way you used to laugh with us. I will come again. Until then, Goodbye Mummy"
With a heavy heart and unstable mind, Jess left the cemetery and went to her school to attend her Convocation. Unlike other kids, Jess was not in a state of euphoria. This feeling of isolation and emptiness was killing her. She wanted to enjoy. However life is never the way you want it to be; it always brings you to a point that may feel arduous, brutal, undesirable, but the outcome of bearing all this is worthy.
...................
Sam and Mr Park were sitting in the audience. Both were waiting excitedly for Jess's turn. Jess, who was good at studies before, lacked interest after her mother's death, because of cancer. For Mr Park, it was hard to sort her situation out as he was suffering and she was never willing to listen. She just wanted her opinion to be correct and her perspective to be accepted. And the only people Jess would believe or take the advice of were her friends, Lilly and Peter. But what to say about Lilly and Peter; they were not just of the same category as Jess but were from a higher level. To her, they were the best, "best of all." All were able to see how they had a significant role in turning a naive Jess into the obstinate Jess, but she, she was blinded.
Peter and Lilly were known as the bullies of the school. Jess joined them when the loss of her mother seemed unbearable. Being bullies, Peter and Lilly were leaders of supposedly bully club. And as Jess started getting sick of the people sympathy towards her; she planned to join the group. With time Jess enhanced this skill and turned into a true epitome of stubbornness, and selfishness. Though God blessing and her mother pray still managed to protect her from being a bully. She never participated or joined Lilly and Peter when they used to set their next target for bullying nor did she bully anyone. Which accentuate that her kindness was still alive and there is a chance that one day it will return to the surface
........
Just then in the mic, the host proclaimed Jessica Park and Jess walked on the stage, wearing a yellow graduation cap and gown.
Mr Peter, whose eyes were stuck on Jess, was keeping all teary and emotional after all Heechul Park was a father, maybe bad at expressing his love but was an emotional, loving and kind man. After the death of his wife, Ara Park, he completely engaged himself to work so that he does not have much time to think about his wife. But in conclusion, this created a bridge between him and his kids and special between Jess and him. He was aware but didn't have time to re-flourish their bond again.

However, right now the situation was in much worst condition. With Jess paying no heed and adopting the bad deeds was right now the only disquiet and he wanted to halt her before it gets too late.
Sam, who was sitting beside him, hold his Dad's hand when he saw a tear running down his cheek. Sam was much more sensible and he knew that it's not just their loss but dad's as mummy was his only love and best friend. He never complained about his dad because he acknowledges and understands his condition too. Though he was 16 he always helped his dad either in-home chores or in the office work. He was also very happy to see his sister graduating as he was now at some relief and can stop worrying about his sister grades. There was a time when jess used to help him with his homework but now things were reversed, it would take all his effort to make her study. He was now somewhat a mother to Jess; cleaning her room, cooking her food, washing her clothes was all done by him. Yet his love for her sister was a never-ending one.
