A PAST MEMORY
Marco sat in front of his computer at the police station with Tim sitting beside him.
“Jackson was admitted into a psychiatric facility about eleven years ago when he was nineteen years of age. Diagnosed with borderline traits. But, get this, he had a girlfriend who was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder just after her parents died in a house fire. Now, there’s no sign of this girlfriend. After the treatment, she just disappeared.”
Marco froze on the spot and moved his hand away from the mouse. His eye twitched. That newspaper article about the house fire came into the forefront of his mind. His heart raced. Could the woman be Dawn? “My God! That article I told you about, Tim. The one that Bella found out about. The house fire. Do you think…?”
