CHAPTER 19:
AGGRESSIVE NATURE
Bella played with the tips of her fingers, peering at her watch every few minutes. Her queasy stomach stopped her from reviewing last session’s case notes of Jackson. She intuitively knew that Jackson was hiding many things about his life, but the question was why did he feel the need to be secretive? Did he have something shameful to hide?
Bella wondered how many of the tools and strategies she provided he was applying, and whether he wanted to deal with his issues. He appeared to show great insight into his behaviour but something held him back. A wall that she’d probably never break down. If a client didn’t have the willingness to face the issues at hand, no amount of skill by any psychologist could change that.
