Dr. Morgan POV
The sound of my pen continuously clicking was making my blood boil, even though I was the one clicking it. Maybe I should take a trip, go somewhere for a while. I scoffed to myself. I don't run away from things, nor people. They run from me. Seeing Angela brought up past memories. And those memories brought of past feelings. And those feelings brought up anger. I couldn't help but smile to myself as that woman actually believed I loved her.
I don't love anyone.
Even if I did feel more towards Angela than I did with anyone else, what I felt wasn't love. It was lust. Desire. The temptation never died. But she wasn't enough. What I had before her, what I did before I met her, it completed me. The power I hold over my patients. The way I can make them do anything I want, just by using words. It brings pleasure to my body. More than an orgasm ever has.
A knock on my door came and I looked up to see Violet. By the look in her eyes, I could tell why she's here. I have been avoiding her for the past few days and deep down I know why. But there was no way in hell I'm going to stop myself from getting a little pleasure because of some girl.
So I put on a smile and bit my bottom lip. This seemed to please her. "Good Morning. Your in early," it was six in the morning and she doesn't have to be here til eight. I only come in early because I basically live here. This place is my home away from home.
I have a back room in my office that is almost the size of my actual room at my house. I usually take people back there. My house is off limits. To me, my house is like my name. If you know it, then you know me. And no one knows me.
It's the mystery that makes things interesting.
"Just wanted to come see you, check up on ya," I grinned and leaned back in my chair. I put my fist under my chin and crossed my legs.
"Although, I know you lying," she looked down and blushed. "I can use a little cheering up," I motioned to her with my finger to come here and she happily obeyed.
I turned in my chair a little to the side as she bent down in front of me. I sat back and watched as she unzipped my pants. Her hand grabbed on to my c**k with a strong grip. I could see the pleasure in her eyes as she started to stroke it. Her mouth opened, but before she could even do anything my office door opened.
"Gross," I clenched my hands into fist, tightly. Highly f*****g annoyed. Violet let go, and I could see she was upset too.
"Aaron," I couldn't even muster up the words of what to say to him. I pushed back in my seat and turned around. Violet took the hint and stood up. She had her head down, feeling a little embarrassed causing me to roll my eyes. Women who have no grit in the themselves, no self respect repulse me.
She walked away and out the room without looking at Aaron. Aaron on the other hand didn't take her eyes off her until she closed the door behind her. "Why do you still have her?" He asked with disgust in is voice. Him and Violet actually used to date. I don't know what happened between them two, nor do I care. All I know is that she gives good head. Therefore, she stays.
I pushed back in my chair and gave a pissed off smile. "Would you like to do the honors instead?" He looked down then quickly looked away while groaning. I chuckled as I fixed my pants and buttoned them back up. "What do you want? And you got one more damn time to barge into my f*****g office," he waved me off.
"Your threats don't work on me anymore you f*****g w***e," I rolled my eyes. Aaron is the closest thing I have to a friend. I don't consider him one. But again, close enough. "I just wanted to let you know your little...I don't even know what to call her. 'Next Target' doesn't seem fitting seeing as your making me stalk her,"
"I don't pay you to ask questions,"
"Well as much as I love getting paid, I do have a moral code. And hurting little innocent virgins is on my don't list," my eyes quickly met his.
"She's a virgin?" He squinted his eyes at me in confusion. He was trying to read me but failing. For some reason my mind blocked itself. My intentions with the girl faltered and I felt something. Something unusual. Something unwanted. I sat back in my chair and crossed my legs. Aaron titled his head a little when I did so. Crossing my legs is something that always throws him off.
Flexibility.
"Whoever said I wanted to hurt her?" He scoffed.
"The last time you sent me to do this much digging, that woman ended up face down in a ditch," I bit onto my bottom lip as images of my mother, if I can even call her that, came into my head. Aaron was still staring at me but I couldn't care less. I'm used to eyes always being on me. But what I don't like, is when those eyes aren't staring up at me.
"Well, I have no interest in hurting her. At least not in that way," I said. No doubt he could see the glint in my eyes. Aaron sighed and slightly nodded his head. "Now, leave. And please tell me receptionist to come back in here. She has unfinished business," there was something in his eyes as he looked at me. But it wasn't hatred.
I made sure before I hired Violet that she didn't have any sort of background that could affect me. It wasn't until after I hired her that I found out about them two. I was going to fire her but the bitterness he held in his eyes let me know that he was done with her. Plus her talents were good enough to make me forget about it.
Aaron left and Violet came back in. She shut the door behind her and quickly walked over to me. She had so much joy and lust in her eyes. And it wasn't until she knelt in front of me that it me.
She's not the one I want in front of me right now
