Passion POV

'you know the only thing i don't like about California is that it doesn't snow. my birthday is in two days December 15th and there is not one drop of snow. no show of coldness either ! so all i asked from mama and pops for my birthday is to take me to the mountains or somewhere with some snow. i need it. you know what that lead too ? me and mama going shopping for some winter clothes, shoes, hats. i never had to shop for these kinda things. the only pants i wear are skinnys, sweats and leggings. this is exciting. they said i can bring who i want. i invited Jeremy of course and i decided to talk to Derick today later and invite him and Sky. so everybody would be like coupled up. i invited Karen too. mama said to watch out for her, but she's happy were somewhat friends again. i agree. i told her i could invite a guy for her, but she said she doesn't need to be focusing on no more boys. that's good. that's what i keep telling myself, but with all these fine boys coming my way what am i supposed to do ? i texted Derick and told him to meet me at the park.10 minutes later i walked up to the park and i saw Derick sitting on the same bench me and Ethan was sitting at that one day. well here goes nothing. i walk up and sit down next to him. he looked up and me and smiled, but i just kept a straight face. he sighed and leaned back running his hand down his face. his muscles flexed while doing it too, but i aint here for that.'

Derick: what you wanna talk about Passion ?

Passion: why are you acting the way your acting towards Jeremy ?

Derick: i aint acting no types of way towards ole dude. why you acting the way you acting towards me ?

Passion: the day i broke up with Ethan and me, you and Sky were riding in the car and you asked me was i really gonna break up with him or stay with him. it kinda hurt me to think that you would really think i would stay with him after what i saw.

Derick: you stayed with him all those times before.

Passion: okay ? i didn't have proof he was going around cheating so there was no reason for me to break up with him.

Derick: you were acting naïve.

Passion: how ? because i don't like breaking up with people without knowing the whole story ? bullsh.t ! at least i broke up with him.

Derick: man whatever ! what's with you and ole dude anyway ?

Passion: were real good friends.

Derick: yall f.cking huh ?

Passion: that's what you really think ? lol, i don't know what your problem is with him, but it needs to stop if you want to continue being my friend cause Jeremy is gonna be in my life unless i say otherwise, so suck your sh.t up and act like a damn man ! December 15th is my birthday were going to the mountains in Colorado, you and Sky are invited if yall would like to come. i advise yall to bring warm clothing and some extra money just in case. tell your girlfriend to keep all comments and bad facial expressions to herself. i don't want drama. bye.

'i walked off and went back home. when i got there i seen somebody pull up in the driveway. i walk faster and it was Auntie Aaliyah, Uncle Cory and Cousin Sebastian ! (yall remember them ?).. i screamed and went and hugged them. even invited Sebastian to Colorado. i don't have no classes with him at school and i barely see him, this will be good for us to catch up. we all walked in the house and mama was cooking while pops was on the phone. mama screamed when she saw Auntie Aaliyah. they hugged and started talking like there was no tomorrow. Unc and pops went to his office and started smoking im guessing. i took Sebastian to my room to catch up on somethings.'

Passion: so whats up ?

Sebastian: man, so tell me why that girl name Lizzy trying to claim me as her babys daddy ?

Passion: Lizzy ? the quiet Lizzy ?

Sebastian: man yeah. she know damn well that baby aint mine. me and her aint even get that far. i fingered her and she sucked me up and that was it cause mama told me to come home cause dinner was ready and everybody know i don't miss out on mamas or Auntie Saushas food.

Passion: i know that's right ! me neither. i cant believe Lizzy would do that. she so quiet. i'll beat her ass if she wasn't pregnant.

Sebastian: her face aint pregnant.

Passion: right !

Sebastian: what's up with you and you little love hexagon ?

Passion: huh ?

Sebastian: you, Derick, Sky, Jeremy, Ethan, and Emily.

Passion: haha very funny. Derick is just a friend. Sky is his girl so i tolerate her. Ethan is an ex and its gonna stay that way. Emily is his h.e, can't stand her. Jeremy is my real good friend. i like him a little bit.

Sebastian: ah shiieet ! look at my big cousin ! go and do your thing then.

Passion: i will.

'we stayed and my room and talked a little bit more before we got called down for dinner. today was a semi good day for me.'
