Alex POV After some client meetings, my phone ring and I saw that the caller my was Mom. "Mom what's the matter!" I asked after picking up my cellphone. "Son, there's a family dinner this coming Sunday okay, I want you to be there with your girlfriend" my Mom inform me. "Mom, you know I'm not ready for that thing." I sigh "but I will come home for our family dinner" I added "That's it Son, if you don't have then go find someone, you're already 27 Son you need to hurry and settle down." She nag "Mommm! It's not the time okay, someday may do regardless of that I'm still young, give me some time." I sigh again "haist, okay Son. What can I do, just be there. love you." And she ended the call. "I guess I have to consider what my mom said." I told myself I glance at my watch and it's already 5:30. I guess I need to go home and get ready. My friends and I decided to go at the bar. It's time to relax and refresh my mind. I asked my assistant to drive me home. I'm so exhausted, I want to take a nap in our way home. ---------------------------------------------- My assistant picked me up at home and we directly go to the bar where we mostly hang out. Actually my assistant is my childhood best friend and we treat each other as brothers. I'm at the bar with my friends when I glance at the counter and saw the most beautiful face laughing with her friend. "Who is she?" i asked one of my friend pointing to where they are sitting "Oh that girl in red sexy dress??" he asked confirming so I just nod. "Bro, she's Natasha Reynolds,the heiress of Reynolds Hotel and Restaurant" he said smirking "I think she has a fiance. She's taken bro" John added "Bro, Are you interested in her?"the other one said. They started to laugh. "Wow! Our virgin brother started to like someone" John tease me.I just glared at them. "Guys I have to go first I have an important dinner meeting at 9."I told them after drinking my wine and stand up. "Tsk.You're so workaholic bro" my other friend said but I ignore it. "Just get hammered and enjoy. The bill is on me" I glance at them and go. "Wooo" they said laughing and I started to walk away. A few steps to the counter I notice that the lady sitting there look at me and my heart skip a bit but I ignore the feeling.I just glance at her and continue walking past thru them. "I'm not a home wreaker" I told my self. I sigh It is the first time that a girl has an effect on me. Actually lots of girls wants to bed me but I don't like that kind of women, I know money is all they wanted. I don't feel anything but disgust towards them. To my surprise, this girl has a strong effect to me, like i want to kiss that pink lips of hers or touch her face gently. I can't explain what I want and what I feel. When she looks at me, I feel that I want more than that but thankfully I am good at hiding my emotions. I want to have her but the situation doesn't allow me. I just want to stay away and ignore what I felt so I just glance at her and try to calm myself. Stay away as far as I can. After calling my assistant, I decided to go to the restroom. The smile of that girl keeps flashing in my head. "Ugghh, what is happening to me" I murmur looking at my reflection in the mirror infront of me. I keep on washing my face to keep myself cool and to calm my nerves. After sometime I decided to go out and I was shocked when I saw a man harassing a lady outside the girls restroom. I don't have plan to take action but something is urging me to help that lady. I can't see her face. I heard her yell at that man and try to stop him from hugging her. I approach them and before the man slaps her face, I grab his arm and stop him. "What are you doing? How dare you stop me." he yell at my face. I got angry and grab his collar. "Get lost!" I yelled He suddenly run, He's scared to what I did. "Thank you" a lady suddenly speak in my back I turn around to see who it was and to my surprise , she is the one who keep flashing on my mind so I got stunned. She's really beautiful even if she's drank, I guess but I think she can handle her self so I just nod to her and walk away. What a coincidence I think. A coincidence or it is destined?. "Tsskk nevermind" , the point is she's taken and about to get married, I don't think I stand a chance, we are strangers to each other. I sigh. "I know this will pass. I will forget her, it is just infatuation and it's not loved. I'm just curious about her, that's all and nothing else." I told myself and focus on my agenda for tonight to be continued.....
