Tate's POV
I had two days to think about things while I watched Ellie sleep. I loved her so much and that saying if you love something set it free and if it was supposed to be yours it will come back. That's what I had to do. I know I wasn't the easiest man to love and she sure as s**t never would listen to me, but she ran so many times it made me question her love for me. She may have been the one to say it so many times, but she also ran so many different times. I tried my f*****g hardest to protect her and she ran straight to it because she wouldn't f*****g listen. I can't keep doing this.
I walked out of her room and didn't look back. I was the only one here right now, but I am sure once I got back home that her father and brother would head up there. I'm sure that Mila and Rachel
