Steven Rogers. Also known a Captain America. The first Avenger. The man out of time . That's why he had trouble fitting in the 21st Century. It was completely different from his time. It's like reality had changed. He felt completely lost sometimes if it weren't for the Avengers who helped him. Then there was (y/n). The girl who is always nice to him. She is a beautiful, kind hearted, compassionate person. And also a tech genius. No wonder she was appointed by Tony to look over the tower's technology when Tony would be busy. Apar from that , she also helped him repair and improve his suits .
Her kindness is what attracted Steve.
Her outgoing and friendly personality always amazed Steve.
Now , Steve had just finished his morning training and was going towards his room when
"Steve ! Come and try this chocolate . It's so sweet ~"
"Uhm , okay."
Steve's P.O.V.
Ugh. Why does she have this effect on me ? I felt a surge of happiness through my chest . Also , at the same time , my hear raced as I heard her call me.
I walked over to the room where she was , watching a movie and eating her chocolates. She looked so happy. Well she is always happy for the fact. Her smile is contagious as I felt a smile form on my lips.
"Come , sit here !"
Her hand patted on the sofa , beside her. I complied.
"Here , try this ,"
She handed me a chocolate stick which I put in my mouth and --
"It's...it's amazing ,"
"I'm glad you liked it . So , what do you say , should we play the poky game ?"
"The poky game ?"
Another of the developments while I was asleep. Great.
"It is played by two players , who eat the poky stick from each side and the person who eats the last bite , will be the winner "
"Oh..."
As my mind processed the information , I felt my cheeks heating up. The game would end in a kiss , right ?
Stark is rubbing off on her , she is turning into a flirty female version of Stark !!
"So what do you say ? Wanna play ?"
"We...we could give it a try , I guess. "
I mentally punched myself . My voice wavered , clearly giving off my embarrassment. Yes , I was nervous and embarrassed. The guy should make the first move.
(Y/n) had already placed the choco stick between her lips and I did the same.
We started biting off the stick from its ends , the sweet taste of chocolate melting in my mouth. The stick was growing smaller. My heart picked up its pace . And then , soft warm lips pressed on mine as the last piece of chocolate was taken by her from my mouth , her tongue brushing against mine in the process.
My eyes were wide open while her fluttered close. The kiss lasted for a few seconds and the she opened her (eye colour) eyes and pulled away from me. The warmth of her lips left mine and suddenly I was plunged back into reality. s**t . I should have kissed back. Good job Steve. Now she is gonna think that you don't like her back .
My thoughts were soon cut short as she smiled widely and exclaimed,
"I won !!!"
"Yes, the game and my heart."
Mumbling the last part . I don't think that she heard it for she was busy celebrating her little victory.
Time skip ~
(Y/n)'s P. O. V.
"So what did he do ? What was Capsicle's reaction ??"
My boss as well as friend asked. Well , you see , Tony found out about my tiny crush on the Captain. And he began to give me all the love advices. Hearing him all the time , i decided to give it a chance and did what Tony told me to.
"He blushed."
"Blushed ? A girl kisses him and he just freaking blushes ?! Why did you even fall for that 91 year old virgin , (y/n) ?"
"Hey ! It's just a tiny crush ,"
"Yeah , sure."
Sarcasm dripped his voice . His reply earned him a nudge to his side,
"Ow ! What was that for ?"
I pouted ,
"Tell me Tony, what should I do next ?"
"Hmm... Let's see"
Time Skip ~
"Steve , would you like to go to the park ?"
"Yeah sure , give me some time and I would be ready. "
"Very well !"
(Y/n) and Steve drove in her car to the Amusement Park.
"So , why did you want to come here ?"
"I just wanted to spend the day with you, Cap."
"I would love to hang out with you , (y/n) ,"
"So let's go and have fun !"
They went to a rollercoaster first .
(Y/n)'s P. O. V.
The ride was mind blowing !! But Steve . Oh poor Steve , he was terrified.
Hopefully icecream can calm him down .
"Steve , let's go get icecream. Or wait ! You stay here while I get us both icecreams."
I left Steve who was sitting on a bench to buy two icecreams. I ordered a chocolate one for me but pondered on which flavour should I take for Steve.
"So , which flavour should I take ? "
I asked myself.
"Chocolate because a sweet girl like you should have something sweet."
I was startled , i turned back and saw a tall man with black hair and blue eyes. He was handsome but not as much as Steve.
He held my chin in between his index finger and thumb , tipping my chin making me stare into his eyes.
"I could buy you an icecream ,"
I stammered back a reply,
"Th--thank you , but I don't like to take things from strangers ."
"Come on , now. We won't be strangers if you don't want us to be."
Before any of us could say any more , a voice interrupted our conversation,
"You should learn to listen to a lady when she says No, mister."
Steve. He had a firm grip on the guy's arm and yanked his arm away from me.
The atmosphere smelled like a fight would happen between these two if not stopped. So I quickly payed for two chocolate ice creams and hurried away from the place, dragging Steve with me.
"What was that about over there ?"
I looked at Steve , a little startled,
"Uhm.. that guy just randomly came and um, started flirting , I guess ?"
"And you did nothing to resist it ?"
My eyes widened as I sensed a ray of hope , did....did he....like me back ?
"What does it matter to you ?"
I saw his jaws clench ,
"Because I love you !"
He.... He finally said it ! I'm so happy. Tears glistened at the corners of my eyes. The man I loved , loved me back ! This has been the best day !
"H-hey , why are you crying (y/n) ? I... I didn't mean to scare you by shouting , I am sorry--"
I kissed him. On the lips. He was rambling , someone had to stop him , right ? So I did the noble job and shut him up for good.
My eyes were closed as I savored the moment.
Steve's P. O. V.
My eyes were wide open. Not this time ! I'm not gonna repeat my mistake again .
So I closed my eyes and kissed her back. I lightly bit her lower lip , causing her to gasp . I took this as a chance and my tongue slipped past her lips .
She tasted sweet and I tasted the chocolate ice cream in her mouth. (Y/n) let out another moan as my hand slipped around her waist , pulling her closer to me. I had this sudden urge to feel her close to me.
We had to end the kiss for we were in dire need of oxygen. I pulled her closer to me , burring my face in her smooth (hair color) hair, smelling her shampoo .
"I love you , (y/n) ."
"I love you too ,Steve. "
