Chapter 12Theo arrived at his office the next morning and shut his door. He'd had yet another altercation with Mandy about some trivia and he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. Usually, the first fifteen minutes or so in the morning were spent chatting with colleagues and coffees being poured before everyone got down to the daily grind, but not this morning. Theo's secretary was to be late in for work because of a dental appointment. His assistant accountant, Tom, was deeply ensconced in a conversation with Johnny and Elizabeth and the two typists were comparing nail polish. Nobody even noticed Theo slip into his room.
