Chapter 13Colin was washing the company car in the car park in front of the warehouse. A stand pipe was against the wall, still operational from when the previous company, a builders' merchant, had used the space. Eddie was chatting to him as he worked.
“Those Blu-rays okay then?” Eddie asked, making small talk.
“Yes, I guess so, no complaints anyway.” Colin looked down and polished the side of the car vigorously. He could feel his cheeks burning.
“Just let me know if the boss needs anything else signed out,” Eddie offered. “That looks like hot work. Do you want a cold drink? I've got cola in the fridge. Yup, all mod cons in this store,” he laughed.
