I put on my aviators and dressed in a gray vest with a black long-sleeved top underneath, along with black pants and black stilettos.
I am currently in a hotel right across from the place where the Yakuza of Hanoi, Vietnam, is having a meeting. The security in their building is tight. I went out of my checked-in room and headed to the rooftop. I used a zipline to reach the adjacent building, and the guards below didn't even notice.
I managed to enter their building without much difficulty. I took out my laptop from my bag and hacked into the security system of the entire building to shut down all the CCTVs. I wore transparent gloves to avoid leaving any fingerprints.
I went down to the floor where their meeting was being held.
I pulled out my gun and immediately showered the hallway with bullets, taking down all the guards. I grabbed the two armalites from the guards and entered the room where they were gathered. I rained bullets on them until the guns ran out of ammunition. I skillfully avoided each bullet that came my way. I took a katana from the weapon stands and engaged in a sword fight with the Yakuza.
They are my favorite playmates because they don't know how to use guns, but they are exceptional with swords. I enjoyed the sound of clashing swords as I slashed through their bodies, beheading them, and inflicting many more fatal blows. Since they were just a small group, about 50-60 in number, I could handle them alone. After the fight, I wiped my face, and suddenly I felt the pain in my legs from the previous day's incident.
After exterminating them, I left the mark of our Mafia by writing on the white walls of the room. My favorite vest was now covered in blood, but I worked cleanly and quietly, so no one suspected what was happening on that floor. I had thought of bombing the entire building, but it wasn't necessary; they needed to see the bodies. I returned to the rooftop to update the organization and restore their security system.
I arrived back at the hotel just as the ambulances were arriving, and chaos was unfolding in the adjacent building.
I grinned as I checked my bank account. I had just received 5 million pesos for my mission. I withdrew the money and deposited it into my personal savings account online, being very careful in the process. I knew my brother was tracking me.
"Paeng!" I called my brother as I arrived home.
"Ate!" He exclaimed and greeted me with a warm hug. It's a relief that Paeng can take care of himself now, so I need to ensure that I don't stay away for too long.
"Since it's payday, I'll buy you new clothes," I winked at him.
"Whoah!" He exclaimed excitedly. "But don't you have work now, Ate? At Monique's place?"
"I'm on leave, no worries," I grinned at him. We went straight to the mall to go shopping for clothes and other stuff.
"Aren't you going to buy a car so we won't have to walk?" My brother asked me.
"The place we're going is close by," I replied.
"For you, but not for me," he retorted, and I just shrugged at him. I was about to grab a jacket when someone else reached for it at the same time. We locked eyes, and she didn't let go of the jacket, so I tightened my grip.
"I'll try it first," she said firmly.
"No, me first," I smirked.
"I'm pregnant, I deserve to be prioritized," she insisted.
"But you're obviously not pregnant," I raised an eyebrow. Although her baby bump was noticeable, I stayed firm; who knows if it's just a belly?
"Ate, they have more stock of that jacket," my brother told me.
"It's the last one," the saleslady said. This made me want the jacket even more.
"Ate..." Paeng nudged me, so I glared at him.
"You should listen to your brother," the lady said to me, but I just smirked at her.
"Ate Claire! You're here—Maureen!" My eyes widened when I saw Christian. So, this is the sister who was looking for Lomi before.
"You know this girl?" His sister asked, and I raised an eyebrow.
"She's my classmate, and please stop fighting," he hissed at her, taking the jacket from us and giving it to the saleslady.
"How's your wound?" He asked me shyly. I frowned.
"Why? Are you disappointed that I'm not completely disabled? That I can still walk?" I asked him sarcastically. He didn't seem to like my tone based on his reaction.
"We didn't mean to—"
"Really? You broke my chair and let me sit on it. Isn't it common sense that I could get hurt?" My anger started to rise. As much as I wanted to live a normal life, it seems impossible because of them.
"What did you do, Christian?" His sister asked. I glared at him, and Christian just remained quiet.
"Whatever my brother did to you, please forgive him. I'll buy you this jacket," his sister said, surprising me with her offer.
"A- no, it's fine—"
"It's already free, so just accept it," Paeng said and quickly gave the jacket to the saleslady.
"Paeng, you're embarrassing!" I nagged at my brother, but he just rolled his eyes at me.
