"Bridget Watson, the top actress in the country, is currently in S City, filming her new drama, "Forgiven. "This drama has an estimated budget of over a billion dollars, and it's expected to be the best drama of the century. We are all eagerly waiting for the drama. We all know Bridget is going to do a good job, as she always does. She…" "Turn off the radio," the woman in the backseat of the car said. Her manager looked back at the woman and sighed when she saw that her eyes were still closed. She turned off the radio. You haven't slept for two days now. You really need to take some time off. Are you sure that you can film gigs and drama? You know that you don't have to do it, right?" Her manager asked her. Bridget's eyes snapped open, and she stared at the face of the woman who had been working with her for five years. A smile graced her face, and she looked more beautiful than ever, almost like an ethereal beauty. "I have already signed the contract; how could I just go back on my word like that?" She asked. Lily, her manager, smiled. "You are the best actress, Bridget. Even if you want them to wait a year before they start filming, I am sure that they won't dare to say no," Lily said. "And why would I do that? I am not that kind of person." Bridget had a calm look on her face through it all. Lily smiled; that was true. Bridget was not that kind of person. Even though she had achieved success that most people would never achieve in their lives, she still never let it get to her. She was still the same person she was deep down. At first, when Bridget came to find her five years ago, telling her that she wanted her to be her manager, Lily had been skeptical. However, she was glad that she took the opportunity in the end. Or else, she would have missed out on the chance of being the manager of the best actress. "Besides, I can't just forget where I am from just because I have a bit of success now," Bridget said quietly as she looked out the window. Even though five years had passed, the memory was still clear in her mind, and she knew that she would never forget it. She had once lost everything, getting kicked out of her home and left to fend for herself and two newborns all on her own. She thought she was going to die for sure, but then that person showed up, changing the course of her life forever. How could she not be grateful to him? "Have you heard from the kids?" She asked Lily. "Oh right, they wanted me to call you as soon as you landed. I can't believe that I forgot about something this important," Lily said, knocking herself lightly on the head. Bridget smiled and shook her head, but she still reached for her iPad and called her kids. Two cute identical faces appeared on the screen, and Bridget smiled. Sometimes, she has to admit that she found it hard telling her children apart. "Hey guys, how are you?" Bridget asked, her head overflowing with happiness. Her children were her life, and without them, she was sure that she would have died a long time ago. "Mommy, mommy, we miss you so much." "Mommy, when are you going to come back?" "Mommy, why didn't you take us with you? We also want to see you when you're filming." Bridget was hit with a barrage of questions, but she didn't feel overwhelmed at all. "Mommy misses you too, okay? I can't bring you guys here because it's dangerous. But remember to be good, okay? Don't cause trouble for Daddy, or else I am going to be mad when I get back," she said. The children nodded their heads excitedly. Bridget exchanged a few more words with her kids before she ended the call. "Are we going to the filming set directly?" She asked, back in full work mode now. Lily nodded her head. "Yes, the director said he wanted to talk about the drama and a new character that had been added to the plot, " Lily told her. "Why do they need me there, then? They can just add whatever they want; I don't have to get involved. I was hoping I could sleep at the hotel for some time before I had to meet them," Bridget muttered. Lily frowned worriedly. "Do you need me to call and tell them you won't be able to show up? Anyway, you've been working really hard, and I am sure that they can understand," Lily said. Bridget just waved her hands dismissively. "Don't worry about it; I'll be fine," she said. She came here to work, and that was exactly what she was going to focus on. As for all other things, as well as that person, she hoped she never ran into him while she was here. Although all of the feelings for him were gone, the scars he gave her were something she could never forget in her life. ..... Inside a dark room, a man was watching Bridget on the television. It was a video of her leaving the airport, with fans and reporters chasing her. The woman had huge sunglasses on and a perfect smile on her face. The man smiled bitterly. Who would have thought that this woman once belonged to him? And that he had foolishly lost her? The man picked up the glass of scotch on a nearby table and emptied the contents into his mouth. His eyes were still fixated on Bridget, and if he had the means, he wanted to go into the television and grab her. He wanted to remind her that she was his and would remain his. He threw the empty glass against a wall, and it shattered to pieces. The man grinned coldly; since she was back again, he had no intentions of letting her leave. "You are mine, Gretchen," Zain muttered to himself.
