"Zain!" Bridget screamed, staring at the face of her husband. He was the only one she concentrated on. Her mother-in-law, Brenda, and even the woman on the couch did not matter to her. Bridget was staring straight at her husband, tears rolling down her cheeks. She did not want to believe this scene was real. No, it wasn't real. No way her husband was proposing to another woman right in her house! How could this be? Zain was a bit shocked when he heard Bridget shout his name. There was a trace of guilt on his face, but it disappeared when he remembered all of the things that his mother told him. She could not blame him for this when Bridget herself was the one who was useless. "What are you doing here?" Zain asked her coldly. He had not counted on her to come back so soon. Bridget's eyes were wide as she stared at her husband. Every step that she took towards him was taken with a heavy heart. "Zain, don't you think you should give me an explanation? What is going on here? Who is this woman, and what is she doing in my house?" Bridget questioned. Bridget finally turned to the woman who was sitting on the couch, and her eyes were almost popping out of their sockets with how wide she was staring at the woman. At that moment, the only thing Bridget felt was hate. Hate for the woman who was here to ruin her marriage. Zain loved her; how could he do this kind of thing to her if it wasn't because of this woman who led him astray?! Led by these thoughts, Bridget did not think anymore; she just directly took action. She pounced on the woman, hitting her head over and over again. "Who the hell are you? Get the hell out of my house, right now! I don't want to see you! I don't care who you are; get out!" Bridget yelled. The woman cried, calling out to Zain for help. A large hand soon grabbed Bridget, and before she knew it, she was picked off from Leila and thrown on the ground. When Bridget looked up, she was even more heartbroken to find out that the person who pushed her away was none other than her husband. This was confusing to her, and even as she cried, Bridget could not figure out what was going on. What was this? This was her husband, the love of her life, Zain! Before she left for work today, he had kissed her and told her that he loved her. "Zain, what is going on here? And you had better give me a good explanation. I don't care if you are playing some kind of trick on me, but you need to know that this has gotten far out of hand! Today is our anniversary; do you even remember that?" She screamed at him. The goods she brought back to cook for him had already fallen, and a few were rolling on the floor, but Bridget did not have the energy to care about them now. All of her focus was on her husband, as he was the only one who could explain this situation. She did not see the remorse she was hoping to see from his eyes. Instead, Zain just looked at her like she was his worst enemy. "Wedding anniversary? Who cares about things like that? Do you think that you are so amazing just because I have tolerated you for this long? I am warning you, if you dare to put your filthy hands on Leila again, I will make sure that you pay for it with your life!" Her husband warned her. "What?" Bridget screamed as she stood up. She threw herself at her husband, hitting him over and over again. "You are defending this woman?!" She screamed. This time, it was her mother-in-law who pulled her away from Zain. A slap swiftly landed on her face, and Bridget saw stars from the force of the slap. "If you dare to put your hands on my son again, then I am going to ruin your life! Don't you dare touch my son. You are just a woman who can't get pregnant. You've been married to him for two years, and there's been no child. I brought a woman who could have a child for my son, and she's going to be his wife from now on. As for you, you can f**k off to wherever you came from," Brenda said, a cruel look on her face. Bridget's heart broke even more, and she looked towards Zain. He was the only one who could convince her this was true. "Zain...is this true...how can this be? Don't you remember how much you love me? I love you...we've been in love for so long...you are going to throw away all of that just for this woman?" Bridget asked as she pointed a finger at Leila. If looks could kill, then the woman would be dead over and over again. Bitter tears were rolling down Bridget's cheeks. How could her entire life just turn upside down in a few minutes? Clearly, just a few minutes ago, she was excited to spend her wedding anniversary with her husband. She always knew that Brenda did not like her, but she never thought she would go as far as to get a new woman for her husband. Did the woman not have a heart at all? Leila threw herself into Zain's arms, crying softly, and this scene burned Bridget's eyes. But she did not dare to do anything; the Zain in front of her was not someone that she could recognize. "Zain, I had no idea that your wife was going to be like this; if I had known, I would never have agreed to come here. I think I should leave. I don't want to ruin your marriage," the woman said in a fake voice. "No! The only one who should be leaving is her!" Brenda pointed at Bridget as she said this.
