The clouds parted and the bright yellow rays of the autumn sun felt like a victory. A weight lifted from my shoulders at the sight and the knowledge that we"d made it through the night. We weren"t out of the danger zone just yet but we put a good amount of hours between us and the Nest, and that was a great start. My whole body was tense and cramped but I couldn"t stop walking. Now that I was out, there was only one goal on my mind.
