Rose gritted her teeth; the plan had to go one step further.
Girl spread her hand. "Money?"
"How much?" Rose asked.
"500,000, just out of respect for this pretty face, other people don't have this price." The girl smiles.
Rose gave her the money without much thought and left, but she didn't know she would see this woman again soon.
Rose's mind wanted to explode, thinking it was Belinda. If it was Belinda, Rose didn't understand why she would accept this dangerous mission when free.
At dawn, Rose was in front of Black's castle. According to the information she gathered, this was when people were least on guard, and the girl who had been captured earlier was locked in the castle's top room.
Rose carefully observed the camera's location; she discovered more than 20 active cameras. Rose couldn't help but tense up, just outside the door so tightly arranged that what awaited her inside was undoubtedly much more dangerous.
Rose realizes she has no time left; she pulls out a mini bomb that only makes a sound and does no damage. Rose threw to the east about 500 meters; when the two guards heard the explosion, they quickly lay down. Rose was quite surprised by their quick reaction.
One of them pointed towards the source of the sound, shouting. "Follow me to check out who's brave enough to mess around in our area."
The other guy nodded and left.
Rose frowned; she didn't think they would leave at the same time to see what was going on; Rose's initial hunch grew stronger and stronger; she suspected it was a trap.
However, Rose was forced to take a risk, and when they did not return, she snuck inside. There was no guard inside, which made Rose even more nervous when she infiltrated a place densely guarded.
Rose was surprised that the cameras in the entire area had been disabled. Someone had come in here first and did it.
'How lax is a prison for criminals?' Rose wondered.
Rose looked up at the top room of the castle, the only room that was glowing. The captive thief was in; if it was Belinda, she had to save Belinda from here; that was Rose's only thought at that time; she did not know the danger lurking in front of her.
Standing in front of that gloomy room, Rose frowned. Everything seems too easy. Was it Black who was too self-centered to let her guard down, or did Rose have been tricked and was entering the trap they set up?
While deep in thought, all cameras were working normally again. Rose remained calm; she was prepared for the worst. She pulled down her cap to cover her face and looked at the camera to press the watch in her hand. Soon the camera in the area was disabled again. To do this, Rose's watch has been processed; it has been installed by Albert, unique software that can interfere with the camera, but its effect is only a few minutes, which means Rose needs to do it faster.
Rose glanced at the modern digital lock on the door, but it didn't stop Rose; she quickly opened it and went inside. The room was large but empty, without Belinda.
'So I guessed right; this is a trap,' Rose thought.
"Welcome prey." An inscription in a Russian zigzag stood out on the wall.
"Be lied." Rose smiled helplessly; she had guessed it was a trap but kept crashing into it; Rose didn't know what her subsequent fate would be.
However, Rose does not want to stay and wait to die; at least, she must try to find a way to live. Rose was about to turn around and run away when a pair of hands suddenly reached out in front of her. Rose didn't have time to react; the last thing she realized was that she couldn't escape this time. Rose's later thought is how Belinda will build her grave, beautiful or not.
"Is this the super thief you mentioned?" Derek asked Devlin.
Devlin glanced at the woman he thought was stupid. "That's the one who stole the queen's ruby."
"Really? So should we kill her or force her to tell where the ruby is?" Derek pulled the dagger from his waist and held it close to Rose's unconscious neck.
Devlin raised his hand to stop. "Wait, we need her for the next mission."
"She? What use does she have other than stealing? Being stupid enough to fall into this trap, I used to think that this trap was set up to be completely useless. But unexpectedly, there was a stupid prey that stabbed itself in the head. What can she do for Mr. Kane?" Derek was skeptical as he looked at Rose.
"Mest was injured after our last encounter when we went to Africa." Devlin looked at Rose. "She will replace Mest when we return to Africa next time."
Derek looked suspiciously at the girl in his arms. "Impossible. I could change Mest, I was third in the competition that year, second only to Devlin. Why don't you let me replace you and choose a stupid girl like this?"
Devlin's lips curled up slightly. "She's the first one."
Derek's eyes widened in surprise. "Stop joking around. She? I and Mest lost to her again?"
Devlin turned his back to leave. "Stop standing there stupidly. All of this is information that Mr. Kane himself investigated, if in doubt you can ask him."
Derek gulped, shaking his head. "I believe it, absolutely no doubt."
...
"Headache," Rose mumbled before coming to her senses.
Rose held her head in a dream, her body was weak, and her mind was spinning. Rose reached out and touched her surroundings, her eyes still closed.
"You still haven't sat up yet?" A cold voice spoke from the top of his head.
Rose tried to open her eyes to find out where the voice was coming from, but her trance completely disappeared when she saw the man's statue-like face. The man was half lying, half sitting beside her. Thick eyebrows and sharp, smoky gray eyes stared at her. He seemed injured, his chest covered with bandages, his face pale but still unable to reduce his perfection.
