— Ice cream — Alice had now been staying with Jane for a week and a half and in those weeks, there was still no luck in finding Sam, the Blue’s had moved. She still had not found a job but she didn’t stop trying, even though Jane told her she could stay as long as she needed, Alice still had to leave which meant she needed a job. Alice stood in the kitchen preparing breakfast for both of them, today Jane would be around because it was a Saturday morning and she didn’t have work till Monday night. In a way to thank Jane, Alice always did the work, cooked, cleaned and everything most of the times Jane was tired or not around. Jane walked into the kitchen still dressed in her pajamas, her hair was tied back and it didn’t take Sherlock to realise she was still very much sleepy. She sat herself on the kitchen island, “Good morning.” she greeted Alice, her eyes drowsy. “Good morning, Coffee is over there.” Alice pointed towards the coffee machine, she knew how much Jane loved coffee so she made it for her and Alice always preferred tea. “You’re a life saver.” Jane spoke as she jumped off the island to get herself a mug of coffee, Alice continued making the fries and scrambled eggs. It didn’t take long till finished making breakfast, Jane was on her second mug of coffee and she looked a bit more a live than when she had just woken up. “So, you and David now?” Alice had to stop eating just so she couldn’t miss the look on her face, Jane’s cheeks had a bit of a blush and that gave Alice all her answers. “Since when, is he, you know good—” “Alice really, please don’t ask that.” Jane cut Alice, nothing about her face seemed pleased with where she was heading, it was embarrassing, most of it being with Alice. Alice looked at Jane with a smile, “I was just going to ask if he was good at kissing, geez.” she took a sip from her mug her eyes staring at Jane, who was also taking a sip from her mug. Alice eyed one last time before opening her big mouth to speak, “Dirty little minded freak.” Jane instantly choked on her coffee, Alice said those four words in the most seductive voice which kind of startled her. Alice was giggling while Jane tired to stop choking, after several minutes of coughing she finally stopped. She glared at Alice as she took a bite from her food, “You are definitely the sister I never had.” she chewed down the chuck of food in her mouth once she had swallowed, she took it upon herself to continue the conversation. “And since like last Tuesday, we haven’t by the way, done that.” Alice looked up from her plate like she had no clue on what Jane was talking about, “What? Kissed?” she asked with a hint of sarcasm in her voice, when she saw Jane’s annoyed face she smirked. Upon seeing seeing this, Jane rolled her eyes at Alice, she had definitely found a little sister in her. “No the other one.” Alice raised both her eyebrows which gave out a confused faced, like she was ever confused she knew exactly what Jane was talking about. Jane looked at her again then crenched her teeth, “s*x Alice, I know you just wanted me to say it.” it took a lot of effort for her not to shout. Alice held back her laughter and masked her face with surprise, “Why? Don’t tell me his those shy men in bed. I knew all his tuff guy act was a fraud, boy is—” “I’m not doing this!” Jane shouted as she got up from her chair with her plate and mug, she stormed out of the room. Alice was left on her chair laughing her lungs out, “Well tell me when you guys do, I want to know when I’m becoming an aunt!” she shouted, and a groan was heard from the other room, Alice bursted into laughter again. The morning had passed graceful, Alice still annoying the living s**t out of Jane with the slightest comments. Every time her phone rang she would give her the side stare with a wink followed after, and boy was Jane completely upset with her. Alice at about early afternoon went out for a little walk around the block, by little we met search the earth from bottom to top for Sarah, things would be different if she still could remember her number but the wires up there have been messed up. The sun was shining fairly as Alice walked down the sidewalk, she had on a pair of blue shorts and a black t-shirt. It being daylight a lot of people where out, some hurrying to a date other just enjoying that walk like Alice, but she was on a hunt. Alice walked by a couple of restaurants she had tried to find employment but they all said, they weren’t hiring. Alice took a turn which lead her down the path of a small ice cream shop that was barely noticeable. With the heat out, ice cream would probably be a good idea. Alice walked into the shop, the grey, blue and purple walls greeted her. On the far right of the room she could see children about four enjoying ice cream and the rest of the room was filled by other people, Alice walked up to the crasher. As she waited for her ice cream, from the corner of her eye she saw someone who instantly captured her eye. She turned to get a good look at her but she had her back turned to Alice and was walking out, the girl had on a short that exposed her glorious melanin legs, the kind of legs Sam had. She didn’t have enough time to study her more as she walked out, Alice quickly got out and followed her, once she was out of the door she was met by a bunch of other people who weren’t Sam, she looked all sides but it was like she just disappeared. With a disappointed face Sam walked back to the shop, a frown upon her lips and her head held really low. She got her ice cream from the cashier, her eyes trailed to the poster that said they were hiring. “Where do I apply for that job?” she asked at her finger was pointing towards the poster. It wasn’t likely that Sam would show up here but it was start, and she would try her very best to find Sam whatever it took.
