CLAIRE'S POV:
"You fat worthless b***h!" He slapped me and I fell down to the ground. "Is there anything you can do right?!"
He kicked me by the stomach before grasping my hair, making me stand up with him while crying.
Please stop.
"That was a very simple task! Prepare us a meal and you can't even get it right!"
Alpha Jason made me look at the other side and there stood Alpha Blake, my mate, just looking at me.
"Help me." I begged at him with crying eyes but he didn't respond.
Alpha Jason gave out an evil laugh. "You see, even your mate doesn't care about you. Maybe making him watch while I slowly kill you won't even matter to him." He took out his knife from on of his pocket.
I cried even more. "No, please! I'll do better. Please don't kill me." I looked at my mate again. "Please help me!"
"He doesn't care!" The knife scraped through my skin.
"Wait! No!"
*****
I woke up shaking and with sweat all over me.
A nightmare.
I started crying.
"Luna, are you okay?" The brown haired guy from yesterday approached me.
Luna..
I cowered and sniffled even more. "P-please don't hurt me."
He stood up as soon as he saw me scared.
Another guy with blonde hair approached me. I curled into a ball.
Who are they? Are they here to hurt me? "P-please. I'll do anything, j-just please don't hurt me."
"Zane, what the f**k! Look what you did!" The brown haired guy pushed the other.
"She started crying because of you!"
"Alpha Blake's going to kill us!" They turned to look at me again.
The first guy approached me again. "Please, Luna. Don't cry. We won't hurt you. We swear to the Moon Goddess that we will never hurt you."
"If the Alpha sees you crying, he's going to kill us so please." The blonde haired guy added.
Alpha Blake..
He just watched Alpha Jason hurting me.
How is he so ignorant.
Before I knew it, I was crying even more.
"f**k!" One of them explained.
"Why is she crying? s**t! Jake! Blake's gonna kill us! What are we gonna do?"
I heard the door burst open. "You boys are not helping! Get your asses out!" A female voice shouted.
"Leila, dear. She just started crying. We didn't do any-.." One of the guys was cut off by the female again.
"I'll handle this. Just tell Blake she's up and come up with breakfast after about an hour."
A female ordering men? In my pack, females wolves are mostly just slaves and under every male wolves.
I sniffled and looked up.
A beautiful lady with dark locks walked up to me while smiling. "Hi! You must be Claire. My brother told me about you last night and I couldn't wait to meet you but he told me you were already sleeping." She examined me. "He's right. You are stunning!"
I continued to sniff.
She realized something. "That's right! My bad. My name's Leila Caesar- Broot. I'm Blake's little sister and that brown haired guy, Jake Broot is my mate, he's Blake's beta. The blonde is Zane Hallock, Blake's third-in-command. I'm sorry about them." She gave me a warm smile.
She slowly sat next to me.
I wiped my tears with my hand and heaved a deep sigh. "I-I'm Claire Williams."
Leila slowly took my shaking hand. "It's nice meeting you Claire. Blake explained to me last night that you went through a lot of things. He also explained that we might scare you so we have avoid being loud and moving aggressively. I don't know why those two still chose to argue in front of you. I'm so sorry Claire that you have to get through all that. But don't worry. Blake won't let anyone hurt you. This pack is your family now and you don't have to be afraid of anything and anyone anymore." She gave me reassurance.
Blake..
I smiled back. "Thank you."
She's so soft and calming. Nothing about her is scary nor fake.
"Blake told me you have no clothes and stuff here so I shopped for you earlier this morning." Turning to her side, she grabbed the bags she brought earlier.
That is when I remembered I don't have inner wears. I pulled the covers up to my chest.
She giggled a bit. "It's okay Claire. Let's get you cleaned up, change your bandages and Blake will come up with breakfast. Sounds good?"
I nodded.
"Okay let's go to the bathroom." She helped me up and assisted me to the bathroom. "Here's your shampoo, body wash, body oils, and other bath stuff." She put them to the empty rack below Alpha Blake's bath stuff.
"Blake made sure there's room for his mate's things even if he haven't met you yet." She smiled. "Here's a bath robe for you. Put it on once you're finished so it'll be easier for me to change your bandages."
I smiled at her. "Thank you, Leila."
Her smile brightened. "Do you need help taking a bath?"
"I-I can bath by myself." I looked down my feet so I wouldn't sound rude.
She rose a brow. "Are you sure?"
I nodded.
"Okay then. But let's just keep the door slightly opened okay so whatever happens I can just rush in."
I nodded again. "Thank you."
Stumbling a bit, I leaned on the wall for support.
"Need help taking off the top?"
I hesitated. My cuts, burns, and bruises are all over my upper body.
I sighed. "Yes please."
Leila helped me from the back. Pulling the shirt up my head slowly.
She gasped. "Oh Claire," I can her her sniffle a few tears. "I'm so sorry."
I knew she's seen every wound I have on my back.
Grasping the shirt to my chest, I turned to look at her and gave her a reassuring smile.
My blue eyes meeting her teary hazel ones. "Claire, I-..wow, you're so strong not to give up after all those." She wiped her tears and sniffed, "you can bathe now. I'll be outside okay? Call me if you need anything."
"Thank you so much Leila."
She nodded and headed out. Leaving the door slightly gaped.
I stripped the sweatpants with a few hisses of pain.
Sighing, I turned on the shower.
Leila is so nice.
I started crying.
Everybody here is so nice to me. Doctor Hyth, Leila, those two guys before are nice also, and even Alpha Blake.
Why?
I don't know why Alpha Blake still haven't rejected me as his mate and the way Leila told me what he said to her last night, it seems like he cares about me.
He also tries his best to be as soft as he can be when he's with me.
That nightmare though. It felt so real.
Heaving a deep sigh, I continued my bath and let my thoughts cloud away.
