CHAPTER THREE

ALEXANDRA

"What happened? You took so long". Stella asked worriedly and I narrated all that happened at the principal's office.

"She is so shameless! What a b***h"! Stella scoffed and I rolled my eyes.

"I don't care about her. I'm happy I'm not getting into trouble". I said and picked my note.

"That's right. You missed the first period". Stella said handing me her noted and I flipped through.

"Bye Stella". I said to my bestie as we both waved each other and I climbed unto my bicycle and rode off.

I dropped down from my bicycle and walked toward the chocolate store. I'll want to give a very nice treat for Mama.

I bought the chocolate I wanted and walked over to my bicycle.

Suddenly, a scooter rode in with an insane speed, spraying dust on me in the process and stopped abruptly.

The dust flew into my eyes and I had to clean my eyes with the hem of my clothes and sworn inwardly.

"Bastard"!! I cursed silently and walked towards him growling in anger.

"Hello Mr, could you be a little careful and well behaved. You sprayed dust on me while you were coming in so you should apologise". I said in a rush and placed my two hands on my waist, tapping my foot on the ground and looking at him in fury.

He turned to look at me and he gently removed his helmet. The first thing I saw was his black long raven hair, shining in the hot sun.

When he turned to look at me, I gasped softly and went into a daze, staring at him.

My eyes met a pair of beautiful golden eyes. Golden? They shone like fire, or like lava from a volcano. He was very tall and broad-shouldered and his thick raven black hair fell over his shoulders in thick waves, framing his well defined face and sharp jawline and his pink plump lips curved in a smirk. His eyebrows were perfectly shaved and his eyelashes were so long that I got me jealous. Is this guy even human? How can somebody be this perfect??

"Hello"!!! He half yelled, snapping his fingers in my face and I jerked. I frowned at him and slapped his hands away.

He chuckled and smirked at me.

"Take a picture instead"! He said and I flushed. Gosh, I'm such an i***t!!! Do I really had to drool in front of him??

"Dumbass"! I muttered, recovering from my embarrassed state and glaring at him.

"You were saying"? He asked.

"You sprayed dust on me and you should apologise". I retorted, folding my arms around my chest.

He ruffled his hair and looked at me, with a smirk still on his face.

"I'm really sorry about that". He said in a soft cosy voice and my anger melted immediately.

"Uhmmm, I'll be going". I said feeling arkward already as I walked towards my bicycle and hopped on it. I looked at him one more time and he stood there, in the same spot I left him, still staring at me. I blushed and I quickly rode away.

A voice boomed, breaking the silence in the air.

"Did you get her"? A voice said sounding so hoarse.

"No"! The other voice replied, sounding so husky.

"Mama"! I yelled as I stepped inside the house and found Mama ironing.

"Hey sweetie"! She replied looking up and smiling at me.

I walked over to meet her and gave her a.peck while she hugged me tightly.

"How was school today"? She asked as she continued to iron.

"Stressful mama". I replied and walked over to the refrigerator to get cold water. I was damn thirsty.

"I hope you didn't get into trouble". She asked and I frowned at her.

"Mama! I'm not a trouble maker". I whined as I closed the refrigerator and picked my school bag from the sofa.

"Maybe". Mama said and looked at me with a grin on her face.

She looked down at my shoes and frowned.

"Your shoes are so dusty! Dry season is crawling in quickly". Mama said and my mind went straight to the guy with the scooter.

"Don't worry Mama, it's nothing". I replied and brought out the chocolate I bought. She looked at me with a bright smile and dropped a noisy kiss on my forehead.

I climbed upstairs to my room and walked straight to the bathroom.

"I stink"! I thought as I began to undress and plunged myself in the bathtub full of warm soapy water.

Night falls and we all had dinner and I went upstairs to my room. I finished my assignment and I threw myself tiredly on the bed. In no time, I slept off, with the image of the scooter guy on my mind...............

I was walking in a beautiful garden full of lucious and beautiful dainty tress and flower. Beautiful and colourful flowers. I smiled, inhaling the soft mint air as the lovely smell of rainfall waffled through my nostrils.

I looked to the left and saw a beautiful fountain, with sparking water. It was such a beautiful sight. How did I get here? Why am I here??

I heard a growl behind me and I turn only for me to see a pack of wolves. I flinched in fright as I moved backward and they walked slowly towards me, growling. I continued to move backward, still in fear and I stumbled on a rock and fell.

"Ouch"! I yelped and I looked at my arm and found out that I had a scratch at the back of my arm. The pain began to sting as I hissed in pain. The wolves surrounded me and I widened my eyes in fright, afraid of what might happen next. One of them walked towards me and sniffed me and began to whine, like a dog, rubbing its head on my arm. I smiled and I touched its soft fur and it placed its head on my lap and layed down beside me. The others came over and I touched their soft fur lovingly, one after another and their all walked away. I smiled. They were harmless afterall.

"They seems to like you"! I heard a soft angelic voice said to me. I looked up and saw the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Her skin were as white as snow and her golden eyeballs shone like the sun. Her black hair were so long and shinning and she wore a white long dress, adorned with beautiful silver stones. What a beauty!!!!!

"You are so beautiful"! I exclaimed, looking at her with wide eyes and she smiled. Even her smiles are so beautiful that it warmed my heart and I smiled back at her..

"Why am I here? Where is this place? It's so beautiful"!! I said in a rush and she nodded.

"Yes it is. This is your world"! She said and I furrowed my brows looking confused.

"Who are you"! I asked.

"My name is Jael". She replied.

"Are you an angel"? I asked and she shook her head.

"No". She replied and I got really confused.

"You don't have to be confused Alexa. I have an important message to give to you". She said and I became so surprised. How the hell did she know my name??

"How I know your name doesn't matter. I have a message for you". She said again and my heart leaped. She can read my mind too!!!!!

"What message"? I asked.

"You are in great danger! And you have a mission to fullfil. The world you live in is not your world. Your world is lost and you have to save your people. Save your people and save yourself. The existing immortals hunts for your blood. And your people are lost in the overshadowing darkness of Ozz"!! She said and I gasped.

"I'm in danger"!! I exclaimed and she nodded.

"You have no time". She said and fear gripped me as I became more terrified and confused.

"I'm so confused Jael,and I'm scared too". I told her and she gave me her heart warming smile.

"I promise I will protect you. You don't have to be scared. But you must save your people". She said and I ruffled my hair.

"But who are my people? The only people I have are my parents and my friend Stella". I said she turned her gaze to the pack of wolves that had walked to the mouth of the fountain. I followed her gaze and looked at her in surprise.

What is she saying??

I walked downstairs, hanging my backpack, looking so pale and obviously confused. What kind of a dream was that?

I walked to the dinning room and saw my parents eating cheerful. I sighed and walked towards them.

"Hey mama". I said rather dully hugging her.

"Papa". I greeted, hugging him the same way.

The two glanced at each other and looked at me, surprised.

"Honey, what's wrong? Are you okay"? Mama asked as I sat down and began to smear jam on my bread.

"I'm okay Mama, just had a weird dream". I replied and took a bite of bread and sipped my chocolate tea..

"Are you sure you are okay sweetie". Papa asked and I gave him a faux smile.

"I'm alright". I replied and continue to munch my food.

I paused, holding my bread in my hand and I looked at Mama.

"Mama, do you know anybody called Jael". I asked, looking so worried.

She paused, and dropped her teacup on the table and looked at me sharply.

"What did you say"? She asked, looking at me intently, as if she was not sure of what she heard me say.

"I said, did you know anyone called Jael"? I asked again, making sure she heard me clearly and her eyes widened in great shock.

Did my Mama know Jael?????
