My head hurts badly as I wake up. My whole body to be precise. I try to get up from the bed but the pain increases, most especially on my shoulder so I fall right back on the bed.
'What happened to me?' I think and the memories return. I was with Whyte at the balcony, someone wanted to shoot at him but I pushed him away and got shot instead.
The door opens amid my thoughts and Gisselle walks in. She's one of Whyte's pack members but doesn't live in the same building I do.
"You're awake. Hold on, let me let Nala know." She says and quickly rushes out before I can say anything. I want to know how long I've been in this state.
It's not long before the door opens again and Gisselle comes in with Nala.
"Oh my, you've woken up. How are you feeling?" Nala asks as she sits beside me
