"Will you come with me?" Whyte asks again while I'm still trying to figure out how to say no. It'll be too risky for me to go with him if Owen's going to be there.
"The meeting is a gathering of all the alphas right?" I start and he nods.
"That means Owen is going to be there. I've been told about your history with him and what he did to your family so, I'm wondering if you'll want to be in the same place with him."
"Yes. That was also a major reason why I never attended but I called one of the elders and requested that they do not invite Owen if they want me there. Surprisingly, he agreed. I still do not want to go. I don't want to go alone. I want you to come with me."
