"Did I make the right decision?" I ask Alaric when he comes by to meet me. I can't help but rethink my decision concerning Nala and Edward.
"Didn't you think it through?"
"Not exactly. Serene was ignoring me and Nala locked herself up. I hated it. So, I had to agree to their request." I confess.
"Nala does seem happy with him. I feel it's the right thing to do." He replies and I nod.
"That aside, I didn't get the chance to give you my piece of advise concerning the meeting you had in the morning." He continues.
"You know I'll never attend the annual alpha's meeting." I tell him.
"Yes and from what you told me, it appears a trap is being set for you." He replies and I look at him, inquisitively.
"Are you trying to say that I should go?"
"They'll come for you if you don't.
