I couldn't speak with Serene yesterday after our misunderstanding and when she shows up this morning at the office, I try to do so. Only problem is that she's still giving me a cold shoulder. She doesn't want to speak with me apart from when it's work related and I'm starting to hate it.
"Here, sign these." She says and places a file on my table, seeming really impatient to leave my presence.
I frown and stand up to meet her but she shifts back when I get closer.
"You really want to give me the silent treatment?" I ask. I don't consider what she's doing to be fair.
She doesn't say anything and only looks away from me. Her silence makes me very uncomfortable. I want her to speak with me. I want to spend time with her.
