The Reapers Game

ALexis Porter has been 23 since 1950 and she has no idea why. As the world's first real life immortal there isn't much to go on besides her gut and a vicious talent for avoiding cameras. Still, ALex wants some answers to her crazy world. A reaper however, wasn't exactly what the girl had in mind.

When a hooded man with a sickly grin and deathly pale skin shows at Alex's apartment door with a scythe in hand and introduces himself as Death, Alex is a little more than terrified. But, that becomes nothing compared to the proposition she is given; Follow Death down to the underworld and claim a spot as a reaper of Hades by ancient trial, or suffer an agonizing existence in the river Acheron for her death defying crimes against the gods. 

Alex accepts the former and enters into a world of Greek myth and legend come to life. Thrust head first into a court of monsters, she comes across an ancient secret, and a warning that this New Yoker may have bit of more than she could chew.
