Jayden's POV:
Bailey and I managed to fix the issues. She is not mad at me anymore. I don't think she has ever been. I will say that sometimes, our relations can be complicated. She is only my friend. Many people thought something else was going on. No one believes that boys and girls can be only friends. I don't know what to do to prove this. There is nothing wrong with that. I like it. Sometimes, you need a girl's opinion about some things. Two days ago, she invited me so I could see her project. I have to say that she is taking this seriously. She made many sketches of her products. She has a makeup line with a few products. Each one of them can be used as something else. Her lip gloss can be the same as a blush. I don't know how she thought of this, but it's genius. That way, girls won't spend much money on products. You can get a few, which you can use for many things. I showed my hairline. It has shampoo, conditioner, gel, mask, and cream. It will be to make your hair shiny. That is on paper. It will never be a working product. Neither any of the other ones. All of us are in this class to learn something. I would like to have my brand. Well, I don't know what it should be about. There are so many famous things on the market. It's impossible to choose only one. I hope that the teacher will like my project. I worked hard on it.
Two weeks left until the end of my semester. I have to present my project soon. There are some final touches that I should do. The other things are ready. Tom finally got a decent idea. He plans to invade the market with shoes. It's not something new. I wonder how he will make it different from what already exists. It won't be that easy. The only thing he needs is for the teacher to grade it. Andrew will talk about his website. You can find anything for a perfect price. He will unite every category.
I woke up and went to get ready for my class. Ally was at school. Only my mom was here. I thought she would go out with my dad. Usually, they go to work together. Maybe she has a free day. I sat down, and she put food not saying anything. Did something happen? We haven't talked much. She doesn't need to tell me what is happening in her life. She made a cup of coffee and sat down next to me. Her phone is more interesting than I am. I took it and made her look at me. She didn't say anything to me.
- Mom, are you ok? Hello? Can you hear me?
- What? Did you say something?
- I asked if you were ok. You don't talk. Are you mad at me?
- No, I'm not. I'm sorry.
- What is going on? I have never seen you so distracted.
- Lately, I have a lot of work to do. It has nothing to do with you.
- You can always take a break.
- Yes, but I am the boss of my department.
- Since when?
- What? I told you last week.
- No, you didn't. You have never told us this.
- Yes, I did.
- Mom, you haven't.
- I have to go and watch Ally's science fair.
- That was three days ago. Dad went because you were busy.
- Isn't this today?
- Mom, what day we are today?
- Monday.
- It's Thursday.
- Really? Did I forget your sister's science fair?
- I think you did.
- She is probably mad at me.
- I don't think so, but you can always talk with her about it.
- Do you have something important which I forgot about?
- No. Everything is fine with me. You don't have to worry.
- I have no idea what is going on with me.
- You need a rest. Listen to me. It will make you feel better.
- What will you do today?
- I planned to go out with Bailey. I know what you are thinking about, but it's not true.
- I don't think about anything.
- Mom.
- I'm serious. I don't have the energy for this.
- Dad should take you out.
- I agreed to leave Ally alone only during the day.
- Nothing will happen to her. Also, I don't plan to be outside tonight.
- Will you watch her?
- Maybe. I might invite my friends.
- Thank you so much. You are a good kid.
- Why? Because I do everything you want.
- It's not because of that.
- Think about what I said.
- Will you go out? - she asked, and I laughed
- I will.
I went out with Bailey. She texted me where to meet her. We decided to walk around and then go for lunch. Our only class for the day is in the afternoon. We can meet the boys at university. I don't need to tell them where I am. The walk was two hours. For lunch, I got a small pizza. I'm not that hungry. Bailey got a big one. I won't help her with this one. It's enough that I have to eat one. They were ready in twenty minutes.
- You look hungry. Did you skip breakfast?
- No, but I didn't eat much. I was too sleepy for that.
- Now you can restore your energy.
- I'm tired.
- Of what? The semester is almost finished.
- Yes, but we still have to present our projects.
- This will be easy. You worked so hard on yours.
- All of us did, but this is not the point.
- Then?
- I don't know if I want to do this.
- To do what?
- This. The business thing. I thought it would be fun. Now, I'm not sure.
- Did someone make you start doubting?
- No. I'm only lost.
- Do you want me to help you with something? I'll do anything.
- Thanks, but I have to figure this out alone.
- You can tell me.
- Here is something you can do to make me feel better.
- What is it?
- Text Kali.
- Why the heck would I do that?
- Because I know it's bugging you. It will make me happy.
- I'm sorry, but I have to disappoint you. I don't want to interact with her.
- Sad.
- Why do you want me to keep reaching out to her?
- You don't hate her. It might be the opposite.
- I don't understand.
- What happened after the concert?
- Nothing.
- Don't lie to me.
- I'm not.
Why does everyone think something has happened? We didn't do anything. That was only talking. It's not like I will ever say this to someone. I know what will happen. After lunch, Bailey and I went to class. The boys were waiting for us. We didn't do much. It's the end of the semester. No one cares about you anymore. I didn't want to go home, so I walked to one of my favorite places. I got a smoothie and sat down. I saw that Kali was live-streaming again. I can apologize, but I won't.
- It has been an amazing few days. All is thanks to Chris. He is a great dancer and teacher.
- You did most of the work.
- You helped us a lot.
- I won't argue with you here.
- Thanks so much for joining me.
- No problem. I have a class now, but we can keep in touch.
- For sure, we will. Bye.
- Bye.
- Ok, guys. Should we continue? I see one of my favorite haters. Hello, Jayden, how are you?
- Good.
- That's it. Won't you say anything?
- I won't make any comments about you. I'm sorry, but you won't gain the sympathy again.
- This wasn't my goal, but if you think this way, ok.
- Many fans want to talk to you, but you keep picking me. They will start thinking that something is going on.
- Like what?
- I don't know. It's better if I go.
- Why? Because you can't stand me?
- I didn't say it.
- There is no need to. I can see it in your eyes.
- Keep dreaming. That won't happen.
- Why are you so sure?
- Because I am.
- Then?
- Then what?
- Will you leave? The door is open.
- Since you want me to do it, I will.
- I never said it.
- We won't understand each other, so don't try.
- Then stop checking me on social media.
- I don't even follow you.
- But you are here.
- So? Is it f*******n?
- Who wants to be next? Let's see.
Every time, I regret being there, but I keep doing it. Maybe it's time to stop. I finished my drink and went for a walk alone. After an hour, I was at home. Ally was in the kitchen. She looks so peaceful. I want to talk with her. Well, I feel like we'll start arguing again. I went to the kitchen and took a snack. I slightly pushed the biscuits next to her. She took one without looking at me. I'm in trouble. I wonder what I did to her this time.
- Can I know why you are mad at me?
- I didn't say it.
- I can see it. You don't want to talk to me.
- Why were you mean to her?
- When? To who?
- Kali. I watched the stream.
- Can we not talk about this again? I don't understand why you are mad at me for this.
- Because she doesn't deserve it.
- You don't know what is happening behind the camera.
- You don't know either.
- This is why I don't treat her like a princess, unlike you.
- I like her music.
- This has nothing to do with what I said.
- Will you leave her alone?
- I might do it.
- Look. She might have another show here.
- Might?
- Kali didn't confirm it.
- You can ask my mom to take you.
- Why don't you do it?
- Why would I do it? Even if you pay me, that won't happen.
- This is a chance for you to get to know her.
- You know everything she says and does is staged. Nothing of this is real.
- That is not true. Is this staged as well?
- What?
- The fact that you hate her.
- It's not. I don't like her at all. We can't understand each other.
- You can try. It won't hurt you.
- I don't understand why this is bothering you. We only have different opinions.
- Will you take me to her next concert?
- Let me think. No. Ask someone else.
- Please.
- Will you pay for my ticket?
- I don't have that much money.
- Then you know the answer.
- Hey, kids. - my dad said
- Jayden doesn't want to take me to the concert.
- What concert?
- Kali might have another one.
- You can talk with your mom about this.
- But I want him.
- I don't want to be with you and other screaming girls.
- It will be fun.
- No! - I said and left
I was in my room until dinnertime. Of course, Ally had to ask my mom. She didn't confirm anything. It's music for my years. I expect her to make me go, but I won't do it. My sister will want a meet and greet. The last thing I need is to see Kali in person. She is not a terrible person, but I don't like her. Also, we can't have a normal conversation. I don't know how I messed with her, but it was a mistake. The problem is that I have no idea how to fix it. Sadly, no one can help me. I have to deal with this alone. Well, it's not the end of the world. I hope that it won't happen again.
