Looking for the Eclipse

Chapter 7

Alex's P.O.V:

My father runs inside and sees us on the floor.

" You blocked me" he tells me but I can't even look at him.

I'm in terror for my mate and not knowing what the hell is wrong with her freaks the hell out of me! One day she is human the next she is werewolf, yesterday her sent was weak today it knocked me of my tracks and to top it off she is now lying unconscious in my arms!

" Son, is she really your mate?" my father asks

" She is" I answer, staring at her in my arms.

" Get up and get in the car then. I m driving you to the pack" he tells me.

" That is where you both need to be, you were right."

" Dad , I just found her and I cannot lose her..." I admit to myself while I get up and walk out towards the car.

We get in, my father in the drivers seat and me in the back with my mate in my arms.

" You will not son. She is your mate and our Luna and she will be safe and protected." He says and starts driving

" We just need to figure out what that bastard did to her."

" Tell your guys they need to interrogate and him and get it out of him! Something! Anything!" I say and I can feel my anger replacing my fear.

I look at my father and he looks solemn. He starts speeding and I can tell he wants to get us to the packhouse as fast as possible.

" He escaped..." he says and rage floods me.

" Some rogues attacked the guys during the drive to the hide out and took him away. They are severely injured and he is gone" he states as a matter of fact but I can see he is feeling broken again.

I look at my mate and then my father and I get it now. How his life was over when my mother dies and his obsession to punish her killer.

Jackson links me and pulls me from my thoughts

" Alpha, everything is ready for you. Your father told me everything. Warriors will probably reach you any minute now and accompany you all the way to the packhouse. The healer is here already on standby".

"Thanks Jackson. Have the room adjusten to mine prepared and do not let anyone else except you and the security team know what is going on." I tell him and I close the link to look at my father.

" Thank you for telling Jackson everything to be ready for her" I tell him and he just looks at me through the mirror as I see my warrior wolves pull up in an SUV.

We stay silent but my mind is on David. He is gonna be killed and I ll be the one to do it.

"Father... are you worried? " I ask and he nods as we pull up the packhouse.

" Are you furious?" I ask and he nods again.

"Good! Cause I am, too , so thay fucker is totally gonna pay for this and everything else!" I say and hug my mate tighter.

" How is she?" He asks and looks at us through the rearview mirror as Jackson and the healer approach our car.

" She is unconscious but breathing. She was in serious pain just before she passed out." I tell him as soon as Jackson opens the door.

We step out and the healer makes a move to take her from me to put her on a strecher. Instictevely I take a few stepps back and growl at him "Mine!!!"

"Wow dude relax!!! Yours we get it!! It's ok we can have the rest for us!" Jackson says and laughs at my antics.

" Now it is not the time for your jokes horndog!"

I tell jackson sternly and he apologises.

" I will carry her upstairs" I say and look at my female lovingly.

She must be dreaming now because she is whimpering and her eyelids are moving. She has a pained look on her face and I can't help but give her a kiss on her temple. She smiles and snuggles on my neck. I can feel her taking a deep breath and her eyes pop open.

She looks up at me straight in my eyes

" Mate" she says,making ny heart soar and next thing I know her brown eyes turn black.

"Alex put her down and stay everyone to stay back no matter what!!!" Seth orders with urgency in my head.

I order everyone to do so immediately.

" WHATS GOING ON TELL ME!!" I shout at him feeling panic rising in me.

" She is about to turn and it is her first time! Her wolf just told me as much! She needs to focus only on you so it is safer and less painful on her!" He tells me and I am in shock..

"And Alex" he starts and then he continues" do not turn. If I take over I might lose control. Her wolf says she is ready for you to put her down."

I put her down hands trembling. I take a few steps back but not far enough that I cannot grab her.

Suddenly, she drops on her knees and starts growling in pain. Tears start falling from her eyes and her loud wails are breaking my heart!

People start coming towards the pack house alerted from of the screaming. I turn to my father and look at him and thankfully I do not have to even tell him anything.

" I' ll deal with them" he says and leaves. Everyone else is freaking out... how come he is so calm?!

A piercing growl from my mate brings my focus back on her and I see her seizuring on the ground.

I can't take it anymore! I take a step towards her but before I reach her she swiftly turns into a beautiful, big, golden and brown wolf!

Dear lord, she is gorgeous!! And bigger that the average female wolf! Her eyes are mostly black but with a few specks of gold and as she is staring at me I can feel me wolf' s love and pride. Everyone else is in shock.

"Alex... your father told us she is human..." Jackson says in amazement and that makes my wolf turn her head towards him and let out a menacing growl.

" It is ok..." I wisper at her and she turns her head towards me again. "He is a friend and my Beta.. our Beta , my Luna" I tell her and with that she starts coming towards me.

" It is great to finally find you my mate but you need to turn and give her back to me.. " I tell her and she lets out a low growl.

" Please.. she is not well, it is the best for both of you" I plead with her.

She starts licking my face and I carress her gorgeous fur and she starts purring.

" We will have our time together again, I promise but for now give her back to me" I tell her and she looks into my eyes.

She nods and steps back and a moment later she is back in her human form naked on the ground with her eyes closed.

I rush to her and Jackson gives me his jacket ro cover her.

"Baby, wake up!" I tell her picking her up and bringing her close to me.

I keep calling to her while I am taking her inside sprinting up the stairs.

I take her to my room and not the adjusten one, thinking my sent is gonna help her, and I tell everyone to stay outside and close the door.

I place her in my bed and I'm about to pull away from her but she pulls me back. She keeps hugging tighter by the minute and I hug her back but I do not say a word afraid to say something and make things worse.

" Baby, I could stay like this forever but I want to see your face and make sure you are ok. Plus everyone is freaking out me included" I say and break the silence.

"But it is the first time this dream makes me feel good I do not want to wake up yet!" She whines and I chuckle in her neck although I know now that there is a difficult conversation about to happen.
